Los Aztecas Mexican Restaurant

My family and I had been out drinking all day. And it was 1 hour until they closed, they seated us quickly. I was thinking they might be a little upset they we came 1 hour till closing time. Like some places we've been to. They took our orders, and the food was right out. And oh my goodness, how delicious it was. I would recommend this place to anyone!! I live uo in missouri, and I would definitely make a trip back down to enjoy some more delicious food!!

Friendly staff, clean facility, good food. Salsa was excellent (chips were a little stale though). I got the tacos parilla and they were really good. Good prices

Came in for lunch on a Tuesday, wasn't too crowded but definitely popular. Didn't have to wait to be seated but did get the last booth available.

The staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was inviting, like being at a family's house for dinner (generally my experience with Latin culture). I was at booth 44, next to the kitchen door, and spent the entire hour hearing the cooks singing in the back, which was a really nice little treat.

Complementary chips and salsa. The salsa had a smoky, peppery flavor which definitely whets the appetite - probably too spicy for small kids though. Queso blanco and guacamole were also available but for a charge.

They offer Jaritos, Fanta, and fountain drinks. If you like to eat your ice like I do, theirs is perfect for chewing on.

They have an extensive menu with a lot of authentic offerings and lunch specials. I ordered my burrito off the regular menu and it was priced fairly. Initially I thought that everything would come wrapped up together but I'm kind of glad they served the hot and cold items separately. If I'd needed to take leftovers home it would've made for easy reheating.

The meats in my burrito (mix of steak and chicken) were generously seasoned. Everything was fresh and delicious!

They do have some incredible desserts (tres leches cake is hands down my favorite cake ever and they have it!!) but I was too full.

During my meal there was a table being served and one of the plates was sizzling when it came out. One of the servers (I think they all serve every table equally) let me know that it was steak. When the man moved it around, it kicked up a smokestack and filled the room with loud sizzling and the smoke of cooking steak. This went on for a few minutes. Honestly I'm betting it was really good judging by the smell.

Lovely family from Marshall running this and former Las Aztecas. I loved the variety that the menu had to offer. I've been back twice to try different items and not disappointed. Gotta try the sophapias with chocolate drizzled ice cream.

I absolutely love this restaurant!!! The food here is excellent quality, from tacos of asada to chicken fajita! Even the ceviche here is so fresh, I recommend this restaurant to anyone in Harrison. You won’t be disappointed! Even the staff here are amazing people. Very friendly atmosphere and quick service. Los Aztecas is the best thing to happen to Harrison! :)

we ordered off of door dash and it was amazing!! felt like i was back in south texas. it was amazing food, affordable, and best part authentic.

Very good food staff was very friendly. How to mistake on my order which the waiter notice before they even handed me the plate and had corrected immediately. Great tasting food. Will be back!

This is the place we go to eat now .. food is very good service great and atmosphere is just like an authentic Mexican restaurant.. so far the lime frozen margarita is my favorite .. and the quesadillas are so delicious .. always treated with fresh chips and salsa as soon as we sit. 💖 this place!!

Sara was super sweet and always kept are drinks full. Salsa could be better. It's missing flavor but it's alright. I order the Hawaiian fajitas sooooo good!!! My husband ordered a burrito and he liked it too. We will be back

This place has great food and is relatively well-priced. I'm satisfied with both of my visits. They give you a lot of appetizer tortilla chips and salsa. Definitely my go-to for Mexican food around here. I tried another place, and it was awful. I recommend this restaurant. Tip: if they ask if you want your chips and salsa refilled, decline the offer. The portions are bigger than they look in the menu pictures and you won't have room for more tortilla chips. Trust me.

Everything tatsed great! Service was great! Only complaint I had was rice was flavorless. Chicken cheese enchiladas where awesome! We will be back!

I love this place!!! It is the best Mexican restaurant in Harrison. Food has been great everytime we go whether it's dine in or carryout.

Very nice people! Very good food! We are from Texas and it was very similar to TexasMex and that is our favorite!!! Give it a try! Fajita Friday’s are a dollar off! I got the chicken and had to take tons of it home! The guacamole is great too, taste the lemon in it!!! Husband got the churro’s for dessert, really good!

I talked my neighbor into going out to eat tonight. We decided on Mexican and we were both feeling adventurous so we tried this new place, we both had noted it seemed to be doing a brisk business, we both had noticed cars there a lot. 1) they have a liquor license, ((( YAH :) ))) so we were able to get Margaritas which is my main complaint with the place we usually go to. The drinks were fresh and very tasty, no slushy machine at this place decent liquor in them, not top shelf but not swill either. I had a strawberry margarita blended with salt and my neighbor had the traditional lime margarita blended with salt. We both loved our drink.
The waiter was a tall dark haired young man with curly hair, what a great experience we had, a lot because of him. At his suggestion I had a burrito that was cooked with pineapple on the side and with (fresh Jalapeno mixed in, his suggestion) it was the most tasty food item i think Ive ever had in Harrison. Full Stop.
My friend got a California burrito that was at least a foot long and as big around as a 12" loaded Subway sandwich. the melted cheese covered it and was 1/2" deep around it. Now He is a big eater when he eats, when that item hit the table I said to him
"No way your going to be able to finish that". he tried, about 1/3 of it came home, in a to go box. we also ordered a big bowl of caso melted white chese dip, it wasnt spicy but it was very tasty. The chips are thicker and very crunchy, chunchier than I'm used too, but they too were different but good. It was just another element that kind of added to the authentically Mexican meal experience.
I saw the next thing im going to order, as it passed by my table. Molcajete i'm sure i spelled that wrong, she said it was called when I asked, but I'm definitely going back soon and I'm going to order THAT! We left full happy and content, also we left a 50% tip because it's the right thing to do when the service was out of this world good...and the bill was only $40?? yeah with 2 drinks. Try this place i hope your lucky enough to get the same waiter we did, and I hope you have an equally exceptional dining experience.

Very good food I been to lot of Mexican restaurants this one is of good one and I’m looking forward to coming back and very good service. I hope that y’all will be able to eat enjoys the food and the service here.

For someone who grew up in New Mexico, I can't think of a place where I feel at home. The atmosphere is wonderful! 😁

Stopped Friday night for my carry out. Great atmosphere, very efficient and friendly staff even with a packed house. And the food, just phenomenal! Best salsa in town! My new favorite!!

Has great atmosphere staff was so nice they messed up on a order I didn't even have to say anything they fixed it right away I would definitely come back
