Toad Suck Bucks

This isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience! Everything and everyone was amazing here, and the location is picturesque and serene. The staff and owner are friendly and add to the ambiance. The fried pickles and fried green tomatoes (pictured) are a must, and the steaks are phenomenal. My favorite is the chicken fried chicken and gravy. Don't forget the drinks- ask about the pineapple margarita!

The steak was great. This is my favorite place to get a steak. The vegetables were so good also. The kids were pleased with their food also. My son started eating his before I could get the picture before it was untouched. He had the steak,eggs, gravy dish. I think it was called oso maybe 🤔. Anyways if you have never tried Buck's you should.

Unique place! The ribeye was really good, cooked exactly as ordered, well seasoned and the wood flavor really came through! They had live music playing on the patio and the staff was really nice.

The location is WAY off the beaten track, and the interior definitely had a "hole in the wall" feel! The guests seemed to mostly be "locals".

Sarurday, February 17. What an outstanding meal! 4 of us in our group. EVERYTHING was excellent. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Baked potatoes were cooked exactly as they should be. Table service was quick, attentive and very pleasant. DON'T LET THE OUTSIDE appearance dissuade you, your meal WILL exceed your expectations. Shirt and tie DEFINITELY NOT REQUIRED 😀

Wonderful place to go to get the best steak in Arkansas. It’s in the middle of nowhere right next to the river. It’s totally worth the trip. Make sure to get there early to get your choice of steak cut! Live music on weekends!

Wow! We are from far away Arizona and somehow ended up at Toad Suck Bucks after hearing about the food. The steaks were Amazing! The staff was very friendly and the place provides a unique atmosphere. Live music was starting as we were about to leave and we waited and listened to a couple songs. Wish we could visit again. What a great place! Maybe some day we will be back.

We love this place. It is a locally owned steakhouse that overlooks the river. The atmosphere is causal and very family friendly. They have live music most Friday and Saturday nights. The kids love playing shuffleboard or pool while waiting for their food. Hand cut steaks with limited cuts every night. Arrive early to get the most options.

The food is excellent. Steaks are always cooked to perfection. I haven't grilled a steak in years. I haven't had a bad meal there, EVER! Ken and Deb Buck and all the staff are very great people. The building is a very laid back come as you are atmosphere. Almost gives you a sense that you're at deer camp. I highly recommend coming to Toadsuck Bucks for the best burgers, nachos and the best Steaks you'll ever have.

Great meal tonight. No wait. Parking was nice. Came in, sat down, she took our drink order and we gave her our meal order too. Salad was fresh! We always end up with a box to take home.

This lovely little diner is a favorite of ours. The steaks are delicious and the sweet potato fries are the best you'll ever have. The staff is really friendly and the service is great!

This place is a HIDDEN GEM!!! We loved our dinner of steaks, baked potatoes, salads and rolls. Drinks were always kept full. Get there early, place fills up fast!!!

Wonderful atmosphere and best steak in the most unexpected location. This place was recommended and it is a hit. Great food, adult beverages, friendly people. You have to see it to believe it. I recommend it to all that enjoy a laid back dining experience and as the weather warms enjoy out door dining.

Absolutely the most tender steaks in Arkansas!!! It is like taking a step back in time.
Perfect atmosphere and host.

The food here is really good! They are known for their steaks but I had the chicken fried steak meal which was very good. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was delicious! The shrimp were very large, you usually don’t see shrimp that big here in Arkansas. It’s a little hole in the wall kind of restaurant which is always fun to visit. The only downside is the drive to get there is a little challenging since it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend trying out Toad Suck Bucks if you haven’t yet. They have a good selection of food for the whole family.

I really can't remember the last time I had steak that tasted as good as the way it was prepared by the chef. The service was just as good. Brittany made sure we were well taken care of. Well worth the trip.
