It's still here and nice. Water is high from all the rain. The bike trail is still nice, and it looks like some work was done to it. Everyone seems to be nice, and the aligator in the aquarium is growing. Going come back and ride the long bike trail. They got several walking trails. Of course the staff has change sunce our first trip here.

One of my favorite state parks. Great tent camping sites, there are four right in a row and they are all nice. Equipped with nice grills and fire pits with built in cooking grate.
The tent pads are filled with sharp rocks, I would advise setting up in the grass somewhere.
The bathrooms are new and always week kept by the fantastic park crew. Clean showers that are BIG!

Hiking trails are right there as well, good hiking trails with a 1.5 mile loop, 3 mile loop, and ten mile loop. There are hike in sites as well, but there is no water source by them.
Great fishing and they rent boats as well for about $85 for the whole day.

All in all, a great park with the visit. Beautiful lake.

Great park! Beautiful lake. The Park staff and Host were very pleasant and helpful. They left us change sites with a wonderful view of the lake. Level sites and nice trails, We did the 3 mile Coastal trail. Easy to Moderate. Part of the trail is near the lake. Lots of birds to watch. Thank you for a great three night visit!

Nice trails and very pleasant and quiet area, we have yet to camp there but enjoy the trails and silent beauty of the area. An area rich with historical natural beauty. A must for those whom want a place away from the world to visit.

A small, but beautiful park! I visited during the 4th of July weekend and the park had lots of RV and tent campers. Everyone seemed to have been having fun.

There is a little marina where you can rent kayaks, canoes, and small paddleboats.

The walling trails were also pretty and green.

We love Arkansas state parks and this is no exception. They have a visitors center that sells bait if you feel like fishing, alonf wiith various things you may have forgotten for your weekend camping vacation.

We visit the state parks for the trails. White Oak offers three of them -- a 2 mile (Beech Ridge trail), a 3 mile (Coastal Ridge trail) and a 9.8 mile (Fern Hollow trail). The trails are clearly marked and easy to follow. The day we went was beautiful and we very seldom saw another hiker.

We had a great stay here. The staff were all amazing, friendly and accommodating. Interesting we saw three white squirrels in the park. We stayed in site 10, a pull through, that provided us with access to the northern sky for our Starlink. We took a great bike ride from Bluff City, north on route 27 towards Reader, then east on Sayre to Ouachita road, about 30+ round trip.

White Oak is one of the best laid out campgrounds I have visited. I like to tent camp. The tent camping spots are separated from the RV spots and have a fantastic view of the lake. The bath houses are extremely well designed, clean, and comfortable. The hiking and biking trails are well marked and maintained. The staff at the Visitor Center is helpful and friendly. There are boat rentals available, but I did not take advantage of this offering. This park is definitely worth a visit.

this is a very nice park!
the Rangers and staff are friendly and helpful.
there are four tent sites down the hill from the RV sites with water, a tent pad, fire ring, picnic table, and a lantern hanger.
they also have nice restrooms with showers.
the hiking trails are nice, and there is hike in camping on the coastal plains trail.
little grand canyon is just across the lake. you can paddle out to the Island and take a left to get there, or drive around the lake, either way takes about 15 minutes

Great experience! We traveled from Texas in our 36ft RV to camp with family for the weekend. They have paddleboats you can rent if you'd like. They also have a little store/giftshop inside the park if you need anything during your stay (ice, RV hookup adapters, sewer hose, fishing supplies, firewood, etc).We look forward to staying here again. A little side note... They only allow riding golfcarts for visitors who are disabled, and that is only to the showers/restrooms/the giftshop/taking out the trash. No leisurely riding around the park. 🤷‍♀ The squirrels are super friendly 😊

Hiked the 10.7 mile Fern Hollow Trail. The trail is well maintained with lots of markers but I could see where people could miss the path since it was mostly pine needles and didn't show much wear. Very enjoyable walk and saw a lot of deer and other wildlife. Staff in the visitor center on Friday 9/29 were very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend stopping in!

If you haven't been here... You HAVE to go! Even if just for the day!so family friendly. Camping is the best part but it has so much to offer! Kayaking, paddle boating, fishing, trails, basketball, & every other sport you can think of! The kids have a blast doing every + playing on the playground. The facilities are spotless & always clean, stocked store/bait shop, lots of hot water, everything is within walking distance due to the great layout, incredible staff, I could go on & on. I'm telling you, if your thinking about stopping by - do it!

Small but nice area for camping. Boat dock and launch is available so it was easy to get to the boat when we went out on the water.
