Flag & Wire Coffee

There's plenty to love about McMinnville, and having a fixture like Flag & Wire is near—if not at—the top of the list. The owners Nick & Kim are wonderful people, their coffee is exemplary, and their cafe space is charming, pleasant, and run by super friendly and helpful folks. Can't say enough good things about this great business!

Cool little spot, small inside but lots of outdoor space. Friendly service and great selection of quality beans. Espresso was excellent and pulled well.

Super friendly service, amazing atmosphere. They have 0 Horizon Provisions baked goods and they're so good! I recommend the cheddar and chives biscuits! We got the Chai latte and Lavender latte, the coffee is so delicious!

Taking 2 for the road and it was phenomenal - perfect way to start our adventure. One latte and one mocha, both excellent - light flavor and very smooth!

Stopped for some coffee on our way through town. So glad we found this spot. Great atmosphere, mocha and latte well made with rich flavorful beans, and the bakery treats were tasty. Would stop again for sure!!

Great people, great cappuccinos (great coffee in general) and nice atmosphere. Also, try their oatmilk cap -- it's delicious. Best coffee/roaster west of Portland, hands down.

This place was a bit hard to find as there is construction on the nearby roadway. Look for the beer brew place in the same building.

Walked in and they were roasting (Monday) so the smell was incredible.

Ordered a couple of Lattes, quickly prepared by awesome staff.

Delicious! A nice chocolatey roast that sat well on he tongue.

Picked up some Benevolence beans for home.

Highly recommended.

I really like this coffee shop. The coffee and the snacks are great. They decor is really modern and there is plenty of outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Service has always been friendly and good. The brewery and restaurant are in the same building. This place is an easy walk from downtown McMinnville.

Driving through the area and wanted some coffee. I had never been there before but will definitely make sure to stop by again. Great staff delicious food and coffee.

Flag and Wire is the unofficial caffeine temple of McMinnville! Walk in for coffee, leave with existential joy. The space? Think Zen garden meets hipster lounge. Coffee? Stronger than my Wi-Fi signal. And the merch? Makes me want to wear their brand like it's a personality trait. If this café were a movie, it'd be a blockbuster. Get in there and elevate your coffee game, people!

Great espresso, good drip! Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. They also have a "mug club" check it out.

Coffee was incredible! What I loved is that you can really taste the rich delicious espresso in the latte where most places it's all drown out with sugar.

Best latte Ive had in years! Great flavors and not overwhelmed out by a boatload of sugar like most places Ive been.

The best coffee and staff in McMinnville. Tending towards the pricier side here in the last few months, still worth the cost. Atmosphere is unbeatable. Heard about Flag & Wire from the @BeanStuff podcast years back and finally got to visit. Ordered the Woodsman (not on the menu) and it was amazing! Also had a chance to meet and visit with Nick and Kim, the owners as they were planning small business growth options. Real and great, friendly folks. Thanks guys, keep it up!

Delicious coffee!! Several alternative milk options (almond, coconut, and oat). Hazelnut latte hit the spot.

Super cool coffee shop in downtown McMinnville. Ambiance is unique and aesthetically pleasing. Menu is simple but good and coffee is on point!

Wonderful coffee. Friendly people. And nestled in a wine-making enclave, which allows you to sit outside and sip great coffee while watching industry folk work hard on their craft. If someone rolls in in overalls and work boots, they're probably working across the parking lot on next years best bottles!
