THE OUACHITAS

Out for a day trip and found The Ouachitas. Their coffee is very good and the food quality matches. Loved their pizza and latte’s. Excited to try their coffee beans later!

Cheese sticks, pizza and beer was delicious! Cute place inside with patio dining. Highly recommend The Ouachitas! The only thing I would say that was a negative to us is that you have to order at the counter.

Let’s be clear…I love coffee. And I always want to give a nod to those locally roast the golden elixir.
But rarely do the confines of small town America provide enough revenue opportunities for both well produced local roast with a legitimately beautiful location…yet somehow The Ouachitas has achieved both.
The coffee is great. It was roasting when we got there which always adds to the experience, but they’ve also created a very large space that serves as a high class bar and restaurant later in the evening.
So go here. Partake of the goodness…and tip well.

The Ouachita's was a very neat atmosphere in downtown Mena. I was surprised by how late they are open, they even have live music some evenings. We tried the house coffee and an Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte--WOW. The balance between coffee, milk, and flavoring was spot on. It was not overly sweet and you can still taste the coffee. It was delicious. I wish we were able to try some of the food, but we will be back next time we are in town.

Absolutely delicious 😋 My little and I are visiting my folks in Mena & decided to stop by and check it out as we need Wi-Fi for work & school while we're here. Figured we'll see if it'd be a good place to sit for a couple hours to get some work done, and it definitely is. Not only does it smell of clean leather but it is a very relaxing and beautiful atmosphere. We got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and let me tell you! We live in Southern California, where you throw a stone in any direction, and you'll find an award winning restaurant, but that pizza would give many of them a run for their money! I honestly hope they open one in our area 😁 It was THE BEST we've ever had! My little makes notes of her experiences at places & I've attached her review. If a 12 year old loved a semi-craft style pizza, anyone would love it. The crust was buttery, not hard to bite into, chicken was fresh, ranch killer, all of it so good! Will be back soon for sure! Going to grab one to take on the drive home to California, maybe a few 😈

Such an amazing place. A destination spot with great people serving great coffee, brew, and food!

We found the wait staff helpful and friendly. We only waited a few minutes for food. The environment is beautifully minimal and clean. Decor is lovely—trendy, rich tones with relaxing music and television. Ask for Bartendress Rachel. She was a lot of fun for chit chat and recommendations on drinks. We had cheesy bread (a must!), Bosco bread (pass) and I’m Not Alfredo Those Ghosts with a broccoli cheese crust (surprisingly delicious, thin crisp crust—did not taste healthy).

There is a good selection of beverages, fermented or otherwise. Food choices are apt for the environment and has good flavor. Hopefully will catch the live music next time.

Interiors is very elegant. The place must be very busy during evenings and over the weekend.

Parking could be a challenge.

Friendly service and great atmosphere. My first time there, I was quite impressed with the beer selection. Live music on saturdays and the crowd seemed pretty laid back and chill. Coming from a big city, it’s nice to see a place as such in this small (but ever growing) town of Mena.

Enjoyable food, drinks, service and atmosphere. I had the best duck wings here! And I absolutely loved their beer (Poker).

We stumbled upon this place while looking for coffee after taking the Talimena Drive. We are so fortunate we found it! We spontaneously hung out for an hour and a half tasting local craft beers and ciders and having great conversation with Eli, one of the many friendly staff members. We enjoyed the coffee and drinks and loved the atmosphere. I couldn’t help but take a picture of the trendy bathroom! We’d definitely return in the future.

This place is great! The coffee, food, beer, and service were everything you could hope for. They have an impressive variety available. And the service was fast a friendly. I was in town for a couple days and visited here 3 times. Yes it’s that good!

Very acknowledgable about specialty beers and wines, love the part that you can taste test first!!! The specialty pizzas were fantastic!!! Laid back atmosphere and live entertainment on occasion. I love this place!! And the Car show was be Awesome!

Really cool place! Me and a friend were on a road trip and stopped in just for coffee originally but when we saw that they had plenty of other good foods available we decided on getting an early lunch and ordered a pizza to eat there and some coffee for the road. It was good and plan on going back if we ever go this way again!

I know this is quite the statement, but The Ouachitas has THE best coffee. My wife and I travel and try lots of coffee shops, but this is the golden standard for us. On top of that, their pizza is to die for. It’s always a great atmosphere coming here.

Just what we need after the first leg of our Talkmena Scenic Byway double cycling trip. We saw this online before riding into town. It was even cooler in person. Plus, without this stop, not sure we would have been able to make the return trip without even more suffering.

We had the cheese pizza, breadsticks, a slice of pumpkin pie, and some coffee drinks. All were really good.

The place is style really well. Up to date style with ample comfortable seating. The staff was helpful and friendly. Even some swag and coffee stuff you can buy if needed/wanted.

They roast their own coffee, which was really good and fresh. Even grabbed a bag for the home espresso machine.

Go check this place out, grab a coffee and food, and enjoy Mena!

My husband and I were in town to see his family. Went to a local breakfast place and they had horrible coffee. My MIL told me about this place and it's a breath of fresh air!! Thanks to this place Mena, Ar is growing up!! Great coffee! Can't wait to try the beer and cider I bought! Thanks guys!!

Ordered the buffalo and garlic parmesan wings, and both were Amazing. Live music was playing making it a great atmosphere for any occasion. Bring your family, make it a date night, or take your friends, and you will absolutely enjoy it. Will be coming back!

Great pizza, great beer, cool atmosphere! The kind of place I would expect in a large metropolitan area. Glad I found this place.
