Had a cardiac event saturday. My husband and I were very pleased with the immediate care we had. No sleep over nite but I had plenty of nurses and aids running test all nite. We believe the hospital has improved since St Bernard's took over. I think the bad reviews are not telling the whole story.

Nurses were fabulous! Fast, friendly, informative and done their best to make me laugh in a scary situation with chest pain. And they caught my pneumonia in early stages.

Have only had ONE issue there and that was in 2013 with Emergency Room physician, Dr. Hall when he said my husband was in congestive heart failure. All the rest of the times everything has been a-okay superfantabulous.

We have had some bad experiences with this hospital in the past but this time they did pretty well in handling Dad's case of pneumonia by treating him immediately with IV antibiotics, before sending him to St. Bernard's Medical Center in J'boro. Jonesboro seemed pretty uncoordinated with too many people coming in and out and trying new things including attempting to change his heart and bp meds that Dad has been on for years. Do they not read the reports? He already had some of the conditions that they were wanting to treat and already had a full medication regimen for this. There was no evidence whatsoever that he was in worse condition after he got home from the hospital than he was before he got pneumonia, and thus so evidence that his meds should be messed with. Jonesboro St. Bernard's recommended all sorts of new drugs despite the fact that there was no evidence to show he needed the changes. Plus these so-called "guidelines" some refer to are created by organizations such as WHO, NIH, AMA, CDC, all of which do NOT have the patients' best interests in mind! Do your homework. I'm in open source intelligence so I admit I know more than the average person, but you can research, too! Better do it. St. Bernard's wanted these changes to his meds why? He was no worse off on his condition than before he got sick. There's no reason for it except that they want to push their favorite drugs from Big Pharma which is being driven by a more sinister agenda from higher up. So we are not going to do the changes they want. JUST SAY NO, folks. Your body. Your life.

The doctors were very efficient most of the staff was very helpful. The front desk staff in the ER however was very rude and made fun of my inquiries.... I was without a ride and a very nice staff member helped cover a taxi ride back home for me.

I had hit my head with a 34lb post driver. It left a dent in my head. My headache had been getting worse over the last few days so I decided to get checked out. Dr did CT and told me it was probably where I hit a nerve. He injected lidocaine just above my brow because the pain was radiating to my eye. Said it would take care of the nerve pain. Well that pain hadn’t started until today. I’ve had the head injury since Thursday. I would think if it was a nerve that had been hit it would have began at the time of injury. He then ordered me to get a steroid and toradol injection. Dr came in with CT results and said there is no bleed and it was normal and then left. It couldn’t have been completely normal because I have lesions on my brain from lupus but that is besides the point. The lidocaine injection above my brow did numb my eye up, I could feel the throbbing but it didn’t hurt until about an hour later. Like ten minutes after they gave my steroid and Toradol injection, and that is being generous with the time, I was being discharged. Pain in my head was still pounding. I left before pain injection had time to kick in. It is now about 1 1/2 hours since I left and my head is still pounding. I guess I will just deal with it somehow. I was so excited to get the toradol because it’s like Motrin jacked up on steroids and every couple years or so when I get a migraine I ask for that and it works awesome. This time it didn’t. The Dr was super nice and had fantastic bedside manors. Nurses were so friendly. Everyone was great. Just wish my head wasn’t still pounding. I’d go back if I ever needed to again.

Well if you have no pain it's ok. If you do then don't go here. They treat to you like a drug addict has.

Worst hospital I have ever been to . It took 3 and a half hours just to get taken to the back and another 2 hours just for them to tell you to see your doctor. The place is disgusting and falling apart. I have a few pics of the room we were in .
