Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home & Rest Hills Memorial Park

I prearranged my funeral and burial with help from Marissa Hopper and Zack. They were both wonderful to work with, and answered all my questions, plus more. I highly recommend them for all service needs.

I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the handling of our brother Mark A Murray service. Your staff showed kindness and compassion. Mauri gave us all the time we needed and even called to check on me after being at her doctor at 8:00 p.m. She was then and continues to be there even now.
On the day of the service Anthony Elliott did more than expected to handle every perfect detail. He constantly checked on us and made sure all was perfect. This is our 4th family member connected to Griffin Leggett. I cannot leave out Jeremy Serie he made sure our music choices were perfect and NEVER had a problem one when we changed our song and this is most important. Sheree thank you for going above and beyond my numerous questions and phone calls over and over again. God Bless you all.

My husband, sister, and I have such high praise for the staff at Griffin Leggett. They obviously worked with us while we were in a very fragile and vulnerable state, and we didn’t take for granted the absolute sincerity of every action. We worked primarily with Josh Taylor, and I can honestly say that he felt like a friend within the week. No question or concern went unanswered, and no request went unheard. Tiffany was absolutely
fabulous to work with, as she was both very professional and lighthearted. It’s wonderful to be able to smile and laugh during such a difficult time. Everything went so so smoothly during my mom’s celebration of life, and this was with the help of both Josh and Anthony, who went above and beyond on the day of the service to make sure that every detail was perfect. Everyone made sure that such a delicate process as making funeral arrangements was so smooth. Any further questions or concerns have been addressed immediately. I'm so grateful to Josh, Tiffany, and Anthony for their guidance, professionalism, and care during our difficult time.

I received the most caring and detailed care while arranging for a final resting place for my great aunt. I had to make a few changes in the details that I originally chose, as at times like these, meeting the wants of family members can be challenging. The caring staff at Rest Hills went above and beyond to accommodate all family members and ever made special accommodates so that all family members were able to mourn my great aunt in the manner that suited the particular family member. Rest Hills also provided a service that I really appreciated, they were always available when I needed them and got right back to me when I instigated a conversation. I truly felt like the Rest Hills staff, especially Allen Taylor, really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable during all aspects of the planning, and, the day of the service. I felt comfortable asking all the questions that I wanted to ask, and I never felt like I was a bother, or that they were too busy for me. The day of the service, everything was just perfect, especially the beautiful casket and flowers on the casket. My great aunt was a master gardener, so the beautiful casket with subtle roses on it was perfect. I loved the flower spray on top of her casket: pink roses with greenery(of course, no baby breath!) Also, by the time the service rolled around, when I saw Allen Taylor, I knew everything was going to be perfect, as I felt like Allen Taylor was part of my family, as Allen took care of me front start to finish. He checked on my too see if my airplane arrived in Little Rock, and he even checked on me to see if I made it back safely home. Please understand, this type of caring attention is rare and I will forever grateful to Allen and his staff.

I was there to find the grave of a loved one and they were able to direct me to it. The lady was very nice and such a big help. Thank you so much.

This is a letter from Paul Sullivan and my son, Jacob Sullivan, to thank you for all the hard work, care, understanding, and empathy you gave to us during our time of grief. I was married to my wife for almost 40 years, and losing her was the hardest thing that’s ever happened to me. You helped to ease that burden with all that you did. You walked us through things when we were lost in the dark. You went out of your way to help make necessary arrangements we didn’t even know we needed. And when we came to you with a plan for the memorial, you made it happen.

You also oversaw the arrangements for my son, Joshua, in 2018, with the same wonderful compassion you showed my wife, and our family. Not only that, but you have taken it upon yourselves to personally follow up with me to make sure I am doing well. I cannot express how much I appreciate that. Thank you so much for actually caring about the people you work with. Trust me, things like that do not go unnoticed.

The staff at Griffin Leggett was very professional, courteous and friendly. During this difficult time, they provided what we requested for our loved one; a lovely service. Actually, their friendliness was comforting. We really appreciated the effort staffing put in to ensure whatever was communicated to our family happened in a timely manner. Allen Taylor and the staff at Rest Hills provided exceptional care throughout our whole experience with the loss of our Dad. They made a very difficult time as seamless as possible and treated us with the utmost respect and met every need we had and even those we didn’t realize we needed. They truly were exceptional.

My family has done business with Rest Hills for my little sister, my father, and my sweet nephew. It's always been a peaceful and beautiful resting spot, which is why we've returned more than once for my family members. We worked directly with Megan Goodman on my nephews resting spot, and was SO incredibly helpful. She was so graceful, kind and her care for the extremely sensitive time for my sister, did not go unnoticed. She was aware that our little sister was in baby land, and understood how important it was for us to have our nephew near his aunt. Death is never easy, but it's a fresh of breath air having someone take stress out of an incredibly tough time. You would think once the burial was complete, that it's all finished.. but not with Megan! She made sure to stay in contact on how the family is, and continued to help my sister with headstone inquiries. SO THANKFUL for her in this!!

It is a pleasure to know Brenda Sellers. Her kindness and calm loving manner brings such comfort. She is very professional and knows her business. I attended a celebration that Brenda was in charge of at your Funeral Home recently. I was greeted with kindness and respect. The room was set up very comfortable and was decorated so beautiful. The celebration was amazing and the love and concern she showed to the family really stood out. She did an amazing job.

I want to thank Brenda Sellers and the staff at Rest Hills Funeral Home for their compassionate care during the time my family planned my husband's services- every detail was taken care of from beginning to end in a very professional manner. Brenda was so compassionate with me and my family during the most difficult time and helped us plan a wonderful service honoring my husband & his life. When my precious neice died a short time latter, our family received the same wonderful care.

Allen was an absolute blessing in my family's dealings with the funeral home. He went well beyond our expectations, and I am very thankful for his help during the difficult time of arranging for my father's passing.

Loosing a loved one is the hardest part of life, but they helped me prepare for this difficult time. Megan fit me in her schedule the same day I called and when meeting with her she walked me through all the company offered. Her kindness and knowledge really goes a long way during the process of arranging a funeral. I would recommend Megan if you need help with pre arranging. All around, doing business with this company was a pleasure. Thank you Rest Hill for dedicated employees and all the help through this difficult time.

They took great care and attention to my Father when he passed Oct. 13, 2018. My Mother and I were pleased with the support, patience, kindness and help they gave to us. They made our loss as comfortable as possible and for this I am very grateful. We felt as if we were talking to a long time friend.

My family and myself used Rest Hills Funeral home when our grandmother went to live with Jesus. We were very skeptical on using Rest Hills Funeral due to reading some of the reviews online first. We decided to come down and talk with a lady named Brenda, the funeral director with Rest Hills. The very first thing I noticed was how respectful and caring she was, even though they looked busy at the time of my arrival, she insured me that, there were no rush and I could take my time on making all the arrangements needed. I have been in many funeral homes over the years and have never had the experience that I had when I chose to walk into Rest Hills Funeral home. I was very impressed with the way they greeted me when I first walked in. Everyone that has lost a loved one especially the caring and loving person like my grandmother, the person who raised me. I did not want to think about anything, let alone my grandmothers funeral arrangement and they definitely saw it. Overall I was very satisfied with choosing Rest Hills Funeral home and will definitely recommend to anyone.
