Ratings on other cafes were supecious so went with this place. This place is really good and highly recommended. Located off the i10 and Deming is a good stop location heading east from Dallas area. Serves good Mexican food. Very nice owner was behind the counter and she also served.

Locals were eating in and getting take out.

This cute little cafe is worth the stop. We had caldo de res, chicken soup and asada tacos. Everything is homemade. We took watermelon and cucumber agua fresca to go. Don't be fooled by the humble appearance outside. Just stop!

Drove out of our way to dine here. My wife is a “foodie” so I go along. If she likes it then it's good, after 48 years of marriage that has proven right most of the times. She loved the barbacoa burrito. I had a bite, yea. I kept it simple wasn't sure so tacos. Even a simple taco they got it right. Very nice hard working people, simple clean surrounds. Worth the visit very affordable. Hope you enjoy it!!!

The chicken soup from this place has a delicious flavor. I've also tried the taquitos of tripitas, asada it's hard to have a favorite choice when there all so good. Oh and the agua de pistachio loved it :) recently tried the horchata😋

Menu is mainly Mexican with American options and sides.
Haven't had a iffy or bad meal yet! Consistently great food!

We went on Thanksgiving on our way back to el paso. The burritos were delicious and humongous. I got frijoles con queso and my friend got a green chili maybe. Great flavor on both. We each got the pistachio water and it was delicious and super refreshing.

Some of THE best authentic homemade Mexican food I have had in years. I ordered Chicken Tacos, Robert the Carne Asada Casadia, both were tasty, generous portions. Salsa, real fresh, NOT catchupy! Limon water perfectly yum but so big we needed a 2go cup. The sopas...OMG, saw someone order, was like my Grandma's/Abuelita. The place is not fancy but the food is fabulous, service friendly and you can bet we'll be back!

Stopped in for lunch while on a road trip out west. The owner was very friendly and the food was delicious - we got the quesadilla and the al pastor tacos. Highly recommend stopping in!

This place has the best Al Pastor tacos I'VE EVER HAD (they include the pineapple also, which is an often overlooked detail) . I live in Dallas, Tx, and I get al pastor tacos at all my favorite places and this place beats them all. The red & green sauces are phenomenal. We stopped by here on the way back to Texas from San Diego. I'm sad that I don't live closer to Sounds Good Cafe. The service was also great! You get 5 tacos, but I ate three before I took the picture...

We were driving through Deming and found this place online. Food is delicious! Service fast and friendly, one little lady handling to-go and dine-in orders. I had an asada burrito ($6) and a barbacoa taco ($1.99 ea or 5 for $8), absolutely awesome. I don't generally eat tacos as they never have enough meat, not the case here, they were flavorful and packed! Compliments to the chef.
I didn't try aqua fresca, since I was stuffed, but they're definitely a hit with locals. This place is well worth a stop.

Stopped off the highway, they had the best reviews so we tried it with no regret. Everything was delicious! Tacos, salsa and tea. So yummy!!!!

Great service and the food tasted really good! Server was very attentive and friendly. I had a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and my wife had Fajitas both tasted great! The only downside was I couldn’t find their hours anywhere so I couldn’t update that info for Google.

You need this restaurant in Las Cruces!!! It’s the best of everything. It is consistently good. Everything is spiced well. The flavour is amazing. It’s not greasy.

The food/Tacos are delicious & the Aguas are not watery like in some places I've gone to. These people serve the real stuff. & the employees or the Lady that took care of my Daughter & I was very nice & respectful. So if u have never ate here I suggest you do. It's worth it. We called our order in. It was a big order & they were very prompt.

The food is always fresh and flavorful. Owned and operated by a husband and wife with occasion help from family members. Definitely a nice little hole in the wall.

Their caldo de pollo and caldo de Res seem to be a local favorites. The aguas frescas are made to order with fresh fruit. Their tacos de adobada and tripa are some of my favorites. Their burgers are also good and come with homemade French fries. My husband and I occasionally get the tortas.

Service can be a bit slow during peak hours but always reasonable and very friendly. Prices are very fair for the value. Definitely a go to for locals.

Each of our 4 person party had a different menu item. All of them reminded me of homemade cooking. From carne asada burritos to barbacoa tacos, the portions were generous, the prices were more than reasonable, and the service was fast and very friendly. More like going to the home of family than going to a restaurant. I was very pleased with the entire experience!
