Larry Treat, and the Treat Law firm has been the very best experience for me. Larry Treat is so kind. He listens, and explains things so clearly. I’ve had trusts for over 23 years, but never really had the grasp I needed to have. Larry takes time, and is sure you understand everything before you leave. We first became involved with the Drake Estate and Elder Law Firm in 2009 when my recently widowed mother moved to Mountain Home. Randall was an absolute God-send to me and my brothers. He and his staff helped us to keep most of Mom's hard earned estate intact to pass on to her heirs, while making sure there were funds for her care.
Because of that experience, my husband and I soon had Randall establish a trust for our family.
Everyone in Randall's office was very friendly, competent and professional. In fact, they became almost like family. The firm has grown considerably since we started working with them, but I would not hesitate to recommend them!

With the help of the Estate & Elder Law Planning office team, we completed a trust. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, thorough in gathering information and wanting us to be satisfied with the end product. Randall Drake is the professional everyone hopes for who needs the guidance of a lawyer. He asks many questions, listens and with competence completes a trust to best serve you and your heirs. His explanations (often with drawings) of how the law works concerning assets and inheritance were especially appreciated. He was devastated to say the least, Randall Drake actually went to his house to help him complete his dying wife's final wishes. Jana Crisp is the "personal assistant" we could all only wish for! She made numerous phone calls of encouragement and reminders to complete forms plus helped him with all the necessary paper work. Randall and Jana went above and beyond to help him through his time of need and keep him financially stable.
Today, my husband and I are "young" in our mid to late 40's, with two almost teen children. Randall and Jana have again helped us create a Trust so that when our time comes to be called Home our children are taken care of. We have also been able to encourage my in-laws to create a Trust to protect themselves and provide for my husband and my brother-in-law in their passing.

The experience I have had with the Estate and Elder Law Planning Center is second to none. All the staff helped me during good times as well as rough times with my father. They went above and beyond! My sisters and I sought out assistance with estate planning for my mom after my dad passed away. The waters can be so tough to maneuver through without appropriate guidance. There were so many things we just weren't aware of, and could not know without help. It's overwhelming to say the least. I had used Randall several years ago and realized just how knowledgeable and caring he really is. Yesterday I went to see Mr. Drake about updating our trust after my husband's death.The business was accomplished efficiently and satisfactorily, as, I would expect at any reputable law firm. What set this firm apart was the friendliness and helpfulness shown by everyone I met. From the offer of something to drink when I came in, to the patience, helpfulness and understanding of Mr. Drake, to the gift if a pen when I needed one as I was leaving, I felt comfortable and at home. My comments would not be complete without mention of Alizia. Elliott, who really helped me get through this very difficult year. Her teaching (groceries online) ,her patience(listening to me talk) and her cheerfulness and good humor really were wonderful.

This experience has really helped us see the need to go to a law firm that specializes in elder law. Tacey Gallegos is the best. She knows everything there is to know about medicaid and will hold your hand through the whole process. She works tirelessly and over her hours just to be sure you understand and making sure you are doing everything that needs to be done.
