Tommy's Famous A Pizzeria

Just like other reviews say, don’t judge this place by the outside. I have eaten pizza in every city I’ve ever visited (I could probably live on pizza alone) and this was hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had! Our server was fun and incredibly kind. Might just come back again tomorrow.

Food was hot and wonderful. Music was awesome as well. Place has been there for 33 years. Stop in and try it. Worth!

Definitely a "hole in the wall"/local place, but it was a wonderful stop for our family after touring Blanchard Cave and Mirror Lake Falls. We have a rule of avoiding chain restaurants when on vacation. The pizza was amazing! We ordered a large pepperoni, the House Special pizza and the bread sticks. I would always order from here if I lived locally. Everything was super tasty. One of the owners was around and gave us a little history on why it's called "Tommy's Famous". It's a neat little story involving Elvis Presley! Ask about it! (The soda was on the flat side, but we didn't get want to complain.)

A classic hole in the wall restaurant that will really impress you! Small dining area, but really friendly service and incredible pizza with many options to create your own pies. We ordered the pepperoni with added jalapeños, then the cheese pizza with pesto base. Love that they actually put a decent amount of sauce on their pizzas! This will probably be my only time in Mountain View- but I’m glad we tried Tommy’s!

The food is really good but they are so busy that you may have to wait for service. In the words of the owner, our ribs are good but we are famous for our pizza. This is where the locals go if that tells you anything. The beans are awesome.

Excellent pizza and laid back atmosphere! The owner is awesome, very friendly service. Tons of toppings choices, gourmet cheeses, and the most beautiful golden crust!! Great pizza! The crust: "not a cracker and not a loaf of bread" as quoted by our server...very good crust and sauce. Generous toppings. Self serve bottomless drinks too. Highly recomend!!

We travel a lot of places but we purposely come to Mountain View for THE best pizza we have ever had!!
The atmosphere is fun, the crew is fantastic, the pizza is amazing!

Okay, so Tommy's Famous was a random shot in the dark out of hunger. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Wife and I had calzones, I didn't taste hers but she said it was the best. First, lets talk bread..... amazing! Lightly crusted outside with dusting of flavor and soft and perfect on the inside. I'm also totally thankful for the fresh onions and green peppers that were in mine. The sausage was...... to die for. I now see (and taste) the 30yrs experience. And watching the hand tossing of pizza dough was pretty darn enjoyable as well. Well done! If y'all get a chance, stop in and treat yourselves! You won't regret it.

Ok. So here is the deal with Tommy's. We stayed 1 night at a B&B. Not many places to eat in town, but the good news is we already knew our choices and were up for Pizza. Tommy's is not much yo look at, but just has the down home, old joint feel. If you want fancy, I'm thinking, Tommy's is not gor you. We've been all over the world, and maybe more go with the flow wherever we are. Pizza was very good, very filling with fresh ingredients. More of a Chicago style, big and puffy, not something I would normally like, but this was very good, especially the sauce. The only down side to this, the County is a dry county so no alcohol. On my birthday no less, but there are alot of worse things in life. Tommy's has an interesting history. Speak with Shawn? Sean? sorry don't know the spelling, but real down to earth real and authentic person. Had a great time. I would recommend this for everything it has to offer. Thxs, Tommy's.

It's known from the moment you look at the menu that they don't do fast food! It's worth the wait. The pizza is fantastic and the people making it are just as great. Friendly service and fantastic food! What more can you want?

Good dive place we ran into on our trip. Made us laugh that the owner has spent time in Memphis since that’s where we were visiting from. I got the veggie calzone which was very good. Husband got bbq pizza and loved it. Chill atmosphere

The food was amazing! When you walk in, be sure to stay because you won’t be disappointed!! I had pizza and my daughter had the ribs. We couldn’t have been happier with the meal and the service. It’s very casual, and they take excellent care of you.

This is by far the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. I love pizza and have eaten at so many places, but this is the Gold Standard. If you’re looking for your money’s worth, this is where you want to eat. If you like your pizza loaded with toppings, this is where you want to eat. There is no skimping in the toppings here. And if you’re looking for cheese that stretches for days, you’ve found it.

Hands down the BEST PIZZA in town! The crust, the sauce, the cheese, everything is on point. Great service, friendly owner.

Delicious, best pizza I've ever had, and the Service was excellent. I believe they open after three but it's worth the wait. Also bring aluminum cans, because the beatnik Pizza maker loves to keep the earth green. Last time I was there I ate a wonderful calzone with habaneros.

Great little pizza spot in Mountain View. Pizza was great! Ordered a pepperoni and mushroom and was very impressed. Super nice staff too. Highly recommend this place!
