CCC Scenic Overlook

Great little hike! Been over 20 years since I had been. Trails are well maintained and free of debris. Beautiful views from Yellow Rock.

I think we arrived at the CCC Scenic Overlook by hiking the Yellow Rock Trail.

It was a pleasant hike over moderate terrain, with lots of rocks on the trail.

Great view, a even nicer view if you hike to the yellow rock overlook.

I was in absolute awe! I ended up in this area by accident and I felt so blessed by this "accident"! I was traveling home from Texas and was sick of the rush and decided to take an exit with scenic route signs which added a day to my travels but it was well worth it! Glorious and peaceful!
*The wilted flowers in the picture were there and I noticed them as I was leaving. There are signs not to pick or remove anything from the park. For me the flowers told a love story, I left with a very full heart.

The overlook view is OK, but it's also the start of the Yellow Rock trail if you want to cut a little elevation gain out.

this is a beautiful little Scenic Overlook spot. A great place to take pictures and just relax for a few minutes. We got caught in here during the rain so it's nice to sit there in the cool air in the rain and just watch the nature from the high Viewpoint. We could see the bridge from the road and all the fog. It was pretty secluded and we didn't have anybody bother us while we were there either. It was nice to be alone for a few minutes on the trip. There a lot of people that are down near the cafe area and the more traffic spot so it's just nice to get away

Overlook is great and it is a trailhead for Yellow Rock.This was a great 3 mile hike, part of Devil's Den State Park. Awesome view from the top.

Just beautiful. Worth the hike. If you complain about getting a little muddy, or have to walk uphill, just stay home.

We just stopped and looked while we were driving by and it was a beautiful overlook and we actually seen people horseback riding on the trail below the overlook. Absolutely beautiful.
