Krispy House

Stopped in for lunch and ordered a 5 piece basket of catfish. It came with Fries, coleslaw, 2 hushpuppies and some tatar sauce. The only other customer there was a local couple and my husband and I really enjoyed getting to visit with them. The atmosphere was clean and calm. Food was good!

Got it to go so the atmosphere was the beautiful day we are having today. Ordered the Catfish basket (large portion of fish) w/ onion rings and the Shrimp basket w/ tater tots. Smells absolutely amazing! I will edit this if the taste does not match the smell. Can’t wait to eat!

I didn't think places like this existed anymore! THEY DO!! Amazing burger full of flavor. Juicy, not dry. Mushroom basket was cooked properly and the batter used kept all the flavor locked inside. Thousands of places in Houston (where I've lived for 50 years) to get a burger and NONE of them come close to Krispy House!

Best hush puppies ever! Fish was amazing! Cheeseburger and onion rings excellent. In short, the food will make yer tongue come out yer mouth and slap yer gramma! And the waitress and owner as super nice.

Their fish was awesome! The cheeseburgers were awesome! They had an amazing mushrooms.. I had the chili dog and the dog was really good but the chili was sweet and I really don't like sweet chili so I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like sweet chili but my three-year-old loved it.... the weight kind of was long but it was very worth it

Busy and lunch and a little small on inside. That helps the atmosphere though and the big portions make up for it. Wonderful food

The owner and staff were polite and friendly, the food was great. You definitely get what you pay for here. My father enjoyed the bbq sandwich while my wife enjoyed the double bacon cheese burger and fries. The catfish basket comes with plenty of food for how much it cost. 5 delicious pieces of catfish with fries, 2 hush puppies and coleslaw. I was pleasantly surprised with how great it was overall and will come back when we're in town again.

Their burgers were really good and actually had flavor the fish basket was amazing well worth the money! A lot of food. We also had a chili dog which was good but if you don't like sweet chili then I wouldn't recommend it.

My family of 4 ate from there tonight and it was amazing. A refreshing meal to Mountain View! My family had a mixture of a little of everything and it was all great! If I would recommend anything specific though, the fried mushrooms are to die for!!! Very well done Krispy House!! We will be back very soon!

My husband and my mom and I ate there today and the food is outstanding. My mom got the fish basket with fries and hush puppies and I got a fish basket with onion rings and hush puppies. My husband got a cheeseburger and tots.

Krispy House is old school fast food. It easily surpasses all the chain burger restaurants. These types of restaurants are at the end of their run. Eat at them as often as you can, they won't be around much longer.
