Mellon's Country Store and For Mother Earth

Mellon’s Country store is a great place to step back in time. It’s changed owners since I was there years ago. I love old stores like this. I grew up in one so I have a soft spot for them. Be sure to check this place out when in the area. Penny candy, old time bottled pop, fudge, popcorn, old time toys, lots of things from the past.🥰

This is the sweetest store. The young lady behind the counter was so friendly and informative. Ice cold glass bottled sodas and sweets from days gone by. This is a must on your road trip. Just for fun and a smile. Don't forget to sign the travel book too. Will post pictures soon

Neat stop in Mountain View. A lot of unique items. Some great candy/soda items we remembered growing up with. Nothing beats cold soda in a glass bottle!! Friendly staff, just a neat step back in time when days seemed simpler!!

Tks, a anchor.. something to draw people. Years gone buy, those chairs, the back opened for music. I know the gp on jellybeans are high but they have a shelf life. Great to visit again.

Loved it! Lots of candy, novelty items and souvenirs. The cashier was even strumming a guitar when we walked in. SO MUCH CHARM. Stop in.

I've been here more times than I can count in my lifetime. It's still a nice shop. But I shopped more when Mr Mellon still owned it.

This place is a stop we always make when we are in Mountain View. They have such a variety of stuff and a lot of candy that you can't find around anymore. We love it.

The experience is like going back in time when things were much simpler. Nothing modern about this Mercantile, it's as if time has stood still. Such a neat place to browse and purchase unique items from the past. A MUST stop!

Neat little country store! Definently a must stop when in Mountain View. Lots of candies, bottled drinks, and souvenirs from the area. The girl at the counter was very courteous and talkative.

This store is such a unique mixture of several different things - from "old fashioned " snacks and drinks to handmade local items and so many things in between. Had fun looking around, the owner was so friendly and helpful. We'll be back next time we're in town.

Love this country store. My children especially liked that they could pick their own candy and dump it in their bags. Owner was extremely sweet and friendly.

So, I'm not into the whole "Mother Earth" stuff, but we really enjoyed this country shop. Loads of candy to pick from. Very friendly workers. Lots of fun.
