The Marina at the Wharf

On a dreary gray day, the Marina at the Wharf added bright culinary delights to our afternoon. The wharf-side scenery is a perk that complements the delicious dishes we experienced. The fried calamari was fresh and tender with tasty breading. The pan seared scallops with shrimp was the best outside of Maine we’ve had in our lifetime. The shrimp scampi was superbly enhanced by the garlic and butter sauce and size of shrimp largest I’ve seen outside a 5 star restaurant—huge! The complimentary warm bread served with our salad and clam chowder was yummy. We wish we lived closer to go back — so next time in the Boston area, the Marina will be a destination for dinner. Hope we can experience the outside deck dining then ! Don’t be deceived by the restaurant’s roadside parking lot and general appearance as it belies the great staff and views out back!

It was a birthday celebration for my husband💕. The food was delicious, we started with stuffed mushrooms, wharf wings, and shrimp cocktails, all were delicious. And for the entrée, my son- veal short ribs w/polenta, hubby- surf&turf (12oz sirloin and baked stuff shrimp), other son-grilled salmon and I got the vinegar pepper pork chops w/white sauce & pureed green peppers, it was delicious, we all enjoyed our meal.

Enjoyed Sunday Brunch today with my siblings & family . Brunch selections were great… something for everyone, plus more !
mimosas , omelette station, fruits, pastries, carving stations, fish , various salads & desserts were absolutely delicious !

We stopped in from Indiana based off Google reviews in an attempt to find a good seafood meal. This place did NOT disappoint!!! In fact, potentially ruined us for all seafood moving forward as there is literally nothing negative to say!!! Victor and his family have a wonderful "hidden" gem here! My husband and I placed our order, and Victor came to notify us that his father was on his way from the boats with lobster, and there would be a wait, maybe 15 minutes. Had he not told us, we would have never noticed, as we were more than preoccupied by the amazing calamari, salad and fresh baked bread. The seafood stuffed lobster was mind blowingly delicious, prepared to absolute perfection! Literally one of the best meals we have ever experienced. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in Boston!

The food was good. service was excellent 👌 definitely will go back. Go try it out maybe go when is nice out so you can eat outside by the water!!

We tried to eat in Boston and couldn't find parking. So, we decided to find a restaurant close to our hotel. We didn't realize what a blessing it was! We had three fabulous meals this evening! Everything was so fresh! The frutti di mare was worth every penny! The shrimp scampi and pan seared scallops were delicious, also! Our waitress Vanessa was a ball of joy and pleasure. Without any hesitation, she went the extra mile. Although the place was packed, we got seated relatively quickly. The atmosphere was great. We were able to see a beautiful sunset.

I love this place. Great food and atmosphere, plenty of tables on the water, good and close parking, reasonably priced.

Their Sunday brunch is one of the best in the city. Love their clam chowder and bread.

First time visitor and was not disappointed. Got the calamari appetizer which was cooked to perfection and the pickled peppers were a wonderful pairing.

The table salad was a really nice surprise and was delicious.

Mixed grill was excellent and the salmon was extremely well made.

Welcoming atmosphere and the service was great.

Maybe cliche but leave room for dessert as there are some lovely choices.

Great experience for my wife's baby shower. Owner came over and spent some time with us, it was a beautiful day. Everyone was nice, plenty of parking. The chicken parm was delicious!

I am a visitor from Florida and I have to say the food here was amazing. I got the lobster and was not disappointed. Not only is the food great but the atmosphere is very nice as well. The staff there was super friendly and made me fee very welcomed. The staff at the bar Sarah even helped give instructions on how to eat the food I wasn't used to. And to add the bread and oil that they serve here is fantastic. I could fill up on just that!!

This place is great. Lovely service that is very attentive. I’ve been here twice and would happily recommend to others. I would recommend the fettuccini Alfredo with salmon. Delicious. Also had some other dishes that were specials and I was so full after. Portion sizes are worthwhile.

Great view of the sunset from the patio. Great service. Fantastic food. I will be visiting again.

Recently had a celebration of life for aunt Teresa. Every thing was amazing. Recommend from gatherings and a great Sunday brunch. Try it you just might find a enjoy your experience.

Lobsters and steamers on a weekday night not busy. Everything was prepared well. Definitely a bit pricey but less expensive than most places we checked.

Personable waitress, the coconut margaritas were SO delicious and refreshing. Food was good, the shrimp was huge and burger was cooked just as we like it. That BREAD! My goodness!❤ Ambiance and sitting outside on the deck gave us a great imitate view. The music I have to say was also really great!

First time here & we had a party of 14. Food was good, atmosphere was better than it looks from the outside & staff were really attentive. They didn't have a children's menu but were accommodating with dishes more tailored for them. Our big family dinner went off without a hitch. Wife & I will definitely come back.

I came in this evening for dinner with an old friend. I live in Colorado now, so having a full lobster was something I had hoped to do on my trip.
Our dinners were both phenomenal!! The service was exceptional! Great atmosphere and right on the water made it so much more special during the sunset. Thank you for a wonderful time☆☆☆☆☆

We landed in Boston, picked up the rental care and looked for a seafood place for lunch. We found this place by accident. Great food with a nice view.

Looking for a good view, good food and good pricing is a tough job in Boston, at least the times we've looked. Well, we found it. Two whole lobster and corn with salade, $33. Diane had the scallops and they were very good with a nice Carmelization and nice roasted vegetables. The view is just an inlet but still very enjoyable as you can tell by the pics. We look forward to returning and continued testing of the menu. Two thumbs up! 👍👍

We did not know where to go, we only knew we wanted seafood and so happy we decided to try out The Wharf! The service was exceptional, very attentive and friendly staff. The food was amazing though! First they brought us a fresh loaf of bread with a huge bowl of oil/peppers/parmesan that was so yummy with our drinks (we had a second because it was so good). The clam chowder is thick, creamy and full of minced clams and huge potatoes. They brought us a complimentary salad with one of the best dressings I have ever had (tasted like a mix of creamy ceaser and italian). The steamers were great with tons of diced garlic, the scallops with shrimp risotto was to die for, and the shrimp fra diavalo was also extraordinary. The servings are huge and plenty of leftovers for another meal. We definitely will be back!
