Literally the best place i’ve ever eaten at. It’s so small, hardly could find it yet packed full of flavor. I got the fried haddock scallion pancake wrap and it was so good. i am full just eating half of it. My boyfriend got the salmon sushi burrito and he ate that right up. We got the Crab Rangoons as the share item but we ended up sharing it all!!! So good!!

Absolutely delicious. Brought my family here because I wanted to try a sushi burrito and everyone left happy and satisfied. The food and teas were delicious. They even have options if you don’t prefer seafood or meat. I had the (make your own) tofu sushi burrito, and it was probably one of the best things I’ve eaten.

I just ate a salmon burrito here and it honestly was amazing. I am not sure about the last time I ate a quick bite at a place and felt totally satisfied. Great price, FRESH fish, taste was on point and packaging is pretty sleek!

We have ordered from here many times and remains one of our favorite local places to get take out from. The maki sushi is fresh, fun and filling! They are so nice and will make any changes to your order you would like. The scallion pancake burritos and sushi burritos are so tasty as well.

Best sushi there is!! Never disappoints me and always satisfied me. Let me tell u I have tried other sushi places n this one just tops the rest forsuree!

ALWAYS delicious and fresh sushi for an affordable price! The staff are wonderful. Sunny Cafe is my favorite sushi place! You can't go wrong ordering anything from the menu, it's all amazing.

I've been eagerly awaiting this place to open. It's surprisingly good and really fairly priced. Sushi burritos and poke bowls are about $10. Everything tasted even better than I imagined my first sushi burrito would.

It's small inside, maybe 5 seats. They're quick enough that you don't have to order ahead.

The burritos come in rather nice little boxes. Nicer than you'd expect for takeout.

Top notch place. Love their food and especially poke bowls. Posting this review because I am very impressed with their customer service. I placed an online order and must have accidentally clicked the wrong protein. I went in and they rectified it and gave me a whole new bowl even though I insisted I paid and it was my fault. Normally I would have eaten it but I really dislike salmon. Very impressed with the customer service as I was already a big fan of the food the couple times I had tried it.

The freshness is outstanding! It tasted as if the ingredients were just grabbed from a farm in the back, and everything was made from scratch!

First started ordering from here for the sushi burritos, but now our go-to is the bowls which are easier to eat. The online order ahead menu has very good software and it is easy to customize your order. I've always been impressed by the fresh ingredients in the sushi rolls and bowls, but it is also hard for me not to order the Scallion Pancakes every time.

I am a very picky eater and modify everything, EVERY TIME they make sure I get what I need. Any issues from reviews I see are from Uber eats and recommend ordering online and picking up in store.
They’re always busy so give yourself a little extra time, with the understanding they are a small staff making everything in house!

I placed a takeout order online and the food was ready fairly quickly. I had a poke bowl and bubble tea. Both delicious! I love that the poke bowls are completely customizable. It was pretty busy around lunch time so I would recommend ordering ahead or just planning to be patient.

Hands down THE BEST poke bowl in East Boston! Fish is always super fresh and you can’t beat the prices. I swear I order from here 2-3 times a month. So so good.

Great value go for it, first went through door dash then got hooked to the poke bowl with mango, salmon spicy tuna, eddame, pickled ginger, seaweed and sticky rice. Full of flavor and freash with special mayo. Great valur for around 14 bucks !

Was staying at a hotel nearby and didn't fancy hotel food. Walked by this place. So glad I stopped in for a takeaway. Had a tempura chicken starter and a shrimp poke bowl. Both were very good 👍

I moved here from the west coast about a year ago and was having a hard time finding a solid go-to sushi place. Stumbled on this place through uber eats and am so lucky that it’s in my neighborhood! The fish is always fresh, the prices are very reasonable (especially for the quality and portion size), and they are quick and efficient at getting the orders out. I usually have the poke bowl but everything I’ve tried has been top notch. I eat here often and stopped ordering through uber eats; instead I order ahead pick it up myself now so they don’t have to share their hard earned profits. I’ve tried many places in and around Boston and this is still the best sushi I’ve had so far. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I was very pleased by this sushi bar. The inside has limited seating (enough for maybe 8 people at a time), but it's attractive and clean. The employees were very kind and the food itself was delicious! My friend and I ordered four different sushi rolls, each being very tasty and the ingredients fresh. I will be back here and definitely recommend you to pay them a visit!

First place I had a sushi burrito and was not dissapointed in the slightest. It's as amazing as it sounds. I also ordered the vegetable sushi platter for a freinds birthday the other day and everyone loved it. Was sure a treat! The sweet potato sushi is absolutely scrumptious. Love the vegetable caterpillar as well. The prices aren't bad at all, the platter was a very good value. Couldn't have been happier with the consensus. Been there about 5 to 7 times and every time I was so very satisfied. Highly recommended.

This is our third time coming here, twice we ordered to go and once we ordered through Uber Eats. I get the sushi burrito and my husband usually gets the poke bowl. It is a great little spot and a great value for the burrito and the bowl. I would definitely recommend if you're in the orient Heights area and you're looking for some sushi to go.
