Cattlemen's Steakhouse & Lounge

Great family spot, huge seating area, always busy so expect a crowd. Unlike other posters, all 7 of our dishes, steaks ,burgers, soups, and kids menu items were fantastic. My Ribeye melted in my mouth. Amazing. Drinks are cheap and strong which helps to wash down these huge portions.

Loved this place. Had great prime rib, seasoned fries were awesome, a little hint dip them in the horseradish cream, yum. The bread was great, and the chocolate lave cake was amazing. My husband had the same and the cheese cake, he statement was splendid. He loved everything. Our server Debbie was fantastic, very attentive and positive. She provided us with great service. I forgot to ask for Alma mode for the lava cake and she brought it ala mode and made it look so beautiful with chocolate sauce swirled. The servers help out to clearing and bringing plates and helping yo serve, what team work. We will definitely be back to cattlemen to eat. Thank you for a outstanding dinner and fantastic service.

Although the kitchen was busy tonight we were met with 5 star service from the staff. Kim was an excellent hostess and got us sat promptly and Katie was an attentive server! She kept us up to date on the kitchen happenings and drinks full. We were there to celebrate a birthday and they made the experience tolerable tier! We will definitely be back.

After driving more that 9 hours enroute from Colorado to Arizona it was time for a hearty meal. Cattlemen's Steakhouse is a blast from the past where thick cuts of prime rib dance with blue cheese wedge salads at long tables filled with multigenerational families and friends. We were immediately greeted with two welcome smiles and seated in less than a minute. You can immediately sense a happy place. Everyone was either full of conversation or silent as they enjoyed the course before them. Our server Laura was a pro from start to finish - happy and always one step ahead of us. Whatever happened to great service in America? Laura created such a pleasant experience for us and it was greatly appreciated after hours on the road driving and sightseeing. We started with drinks and then followed with house salads and a warm fresh baked loaf of bread. I asked what the house specialty was and Laura immediately said prime rib. So prime rib it was. We both ordered the 8 oz portion which arrived perfectly cooked along with asparagus which was the vegetable of the evening. I loved all of the options for horseradish in all of its shapes and forms. We finished the meal with a chocolate lava cake a la mode for two. Delicious! Great service by Laura, wonderful atmosphere and most importantly delicious food. First time there great food big bar to sit in separate dining room and outdoor seating gives you a choice played good music only thing was for the first time there we didn't get Greeted so we didn't know to seat ourselves or wait. But other then that we loved it

This place is exceptional. The stake prices are reasonable and the prime rib is very good. I'm glad we didn't listen to the hotel check-in engineer who told us to avoid this place because of some concerns with the service from his experience. Not only was that guy wrong but we had one of the best waitresses of my life. I think her name was Katie, sorry if it's inaccurate. We sat in the lounge area and it was a good atmosphere. My advice... Don't cheap out and get the biggest piece of prime rib on the menu, it's worth it.

Fantastic food and excellent service make this one of the best restaurants in the White Mountains area.

They have an excellent selection of menu choices The prime rib dinner is delicious with some really great horseradish included.

The restaurant is kept clean and the staff provides outstanding service. There is plenty of parking but reservations are highly recommended as the place fills up rather quickly.

My wife and I decided to go here on our vacation as our last night dinner. It was amazing! We got the New York strip steak that was made perfectly. I didn't need to add anything to it, and it was cooked rare, of course. We loved the soup of the day they had, which was cream of mushroom soup. Debbie was our amazing server, and she was friendly and fast. Next time we're up here, we'll be back.

Everytime we go here the food, the service, the atmosphere is great. The clam chowder is the best I have ever had. Our food is always served as order. And the waitresses are very friendly and accommodating. If I were to offer improvement it would be for the girls that greet and seat you to be a bit more friendly. We usually get " follow me" instead of hi, welcome etc.

My first time here with family and friends. I really enjoyed the staff there, very friendly. The food was outstanding. The place was clean and so were the bathrooms. I've never been here before and I always drove by this place while in town. My family friend introduced me to this establishment and I was not disappointed. It was a very good atmosphere and I felt welcomed.

My husband and I spent a weekend in Pinetop-Lakeside for our honeymoon and we decided to have a really amazing steak dinner for one of the nights that we were visiting the area. Cattleman's was one of his first choices, so we made our reservations. The lady called us back about 30 minutes later to confirm. When we arrived at the restaurant we were seated very quickly and the lady at the front desk, Bri, accommodated my request for a booth. Everything was perfect! The food was fantastic and the service was top-notch!

Bar has fantastic lighting , great atmosphere, professional bar tenders and servers .
The food was perfectly cooked (New York Steak -medium rare-) and the sides were fantastic. The bread was fresh and the butter was delicious.
I will be back , thank you all there for a wonderful experience.

Three things to know:
1) Order the prime rib, blackened is best.
2) Don't bother with appetizers unless it is the blackened steak bites
3) The ranch dressing is home made and worth the calories

Driving through We had eaten here twice before and had to come back for date night/year meet anniversary. The prime rib is melt in your mouth, and great salmon. Everything was so good. Apple pie to go. lol. Cassidy was a great server.

Great food! First, I went to the salad bar and they had all my favorite salad components. And the croutons! Amazing! I dont even like croutons but these are 5 star. Plus they had clam chowder (my favorite). I ordered steak and I guess I was so excited and invested in the company that I forgot to take a picture! But let me tell you, this place gets 5 stars because I was impressed.

Cattlemen's is a little pricey, The service is always great. I had salmon this night should've gotten it blackened. But the regular grilled was fine. My husband had pork chops they were cooked perfectly they were not dry. My asparagus was cooked with perfection. Because I was able to eat each piece without throwing any away.

Service was amazing!! I mean truly amazing. Steaks were awesome and the sides were pretty good too. I would certainly go back and would be happy recommend to others.

I would like to brag on our waiter tonight at the Cattlemen's Steakhouse in Show Low. Josh was very attentive to our needs, took care of everything, the food was perfect. I watched this young man deal with a VERY demanding couple that complained about everything, even after sending there food back they still complained about it. The young man handled it with a smile, and was very apologetic, talking to his manager and removed half of their meal from the ticket. All with a smile on his face. Then I listen to the couple arguing between themselves on what to tip this very hard working young man. I don't know what they ended up giving him, but I gave him a 40% tip on a $80 bill just because he handled himself like a true professional. Josh, my hat is off to you. Keep up the great work.

The waitress was amazing but they were so busy I didn't want to intrude and how to make it again

Two years ago, we celebrated my wife's birthday by dining here for the first time. Excellent food, excellent service. This week, we returned. Would it live up to the first experience? Yes, again excellent across the board; including our server Lisa, who is a gem.
