The locations are lovely but the customer service is highly variable. I've had some amazing experiences with the customer service staff and I've also encountered a few staff members who are abrupt and less helpful.

Very poor customer service. I purchased a “sponsor” membership ($600) over a week ago. When I sign in with my temporary ID, I’m being charged 1/2 price for services, instead of th being free, such as parking to Crane Beach. I’ve called several times in the last few days, only to be directed to a voice mail. I’ve left 2 messages, but have hung up several times as no one ever picks up the phone. I’ve also emailed 3 times with no response. Our confirmation email states that it could take 30 days to receive our membership card, so in the meantime I have no way to access Crane Beach without having to pay. Why should I pay $20-23, depending on the day, for parking that should be FREE. Ridiculous!!! Answer your phones and emails!

My experiences at the various sites have been 5+++ (Fire Pitts, Platoon Boat River Ride, Hiking wIth Goats etc) . The staff at each of the sites have been very kind, helpful and great for resources. The problem is getting the tickets - most times nearly impossible due to system errors. What an easy problem to fix to avoid the frustration and annoyance and ill will with your membership. I have been trying to get Winterlight tix. This included over 25 calls, left 2 messages never returned and finally I called Hinham and Mary G helped me with the utmost kindness until she got it right as she too experienced difficulties. There is no reason for this. Also, your search system to find events is poor and needs to be stream lined and better organized as it too is currently a 1 on the rating system.

Trying to get a hold of someone in person at the Trustees over the phone for a member service issue is similar to winning Mass Millions, pretty much impossible. No one answers their phone and everything goes to voice mails, which then you get a standard formatted response that does not answer your question. If people only knew how much staff administrative expenses are for this organization and the level os service provided, no one would donate to this organization.

Not doing a very good job managing park at multiple sights. Cranes to name at least one.

The trustees are thieves. They take you money then
say you can’t use what you paid for.

They don't care about the actual land. They just want control.
