Conservatory Bar

We love The Conservatory! Great little place, friendly staff, delicious food - triple threat! The drinks are amazing too! I’m not a huge fan of Brussels sprouts but theirs are now my “go-to”. Tender crisp, piping hot, and a yummy balsamic glaze. Add the bacon and goat cheese crumbles, and you’ll experience a little bowl of Heaven on Earth… The only negative is that they don’t open until 3 pm, but I’ll forgive them that. 😉

What a hidden gem! The food here is spectacular. Our bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful, and made some stellar cocktails. Inside is cozy and comfortable and the prices were really impressive considering the caliber of food. Highly recommend the pickled and fried cauliflower!

The Conservatory is my go-to bar in McMinnville! The service is always great, the atmosphere is chill and welcoming, and the food and drinks are delicious. I’ve had some fun evenings sitting outside during the warmer months with friends. Seating can be limited during busier days, so I tend to stick to weekdays. Sebrina is the best bartender!!

Hidden jem in McMinnville. Felt comfortable the moment walking thru the door. Met the most interesting & eclectic mix of people… bartenders are mixologist level. Chefs ply their trade @ the next level as well. Most excellent place & atmosphere…

Came here while I was on a trip to visit some friends. I immediately felt welcomed with their pride flags, and they passed the vibe check with friendly and kind staff who were happy to chat whenever I had questions. The menu both food and drinks is creative and playful and I have plans to come back because I need to try more and there is only so much I can eat and drink in a day. Thank you for such an unexpectedly wonderful visit, can't wait to come back and make this a regular stop when I visit my friends. See y'all next time!

Love this place! Visited the Conservatory Bar as part of The Meltdown 2024 (February 2024) and had their yummy grilled cheese and bacon sandwich with a side of fries and a cranberry sour beer.....it was all very delish! The ambience here is very chill and laid-back as well, with air plants dangling from the ceiling and decorating the walls. A+++!

This spot is great, perfect combination of classy and chill. And the staff is amazing, good at paying attention.

Highly recommend as a great spot to have a date, catch up with a friend or even solo to enjoy a delicious cocktail with craft! The food was 10/10 as well. Can’t go wrong with the brisket or portobello sandwich. I’ll be back

My first time here was for the Meltdown event, and their grilled cheese was by far the best one this year. Cocktails were also yummy, service was great, and I bet people are gonna cry when this sandwich goes off the menu in two days. We shall be back!

I've been searching for a good burger in McMinnville after moving here 5 years ago, and FINALLY found the best burger in town, AND the best fries! Conservatory Bar serves a half pound burger, cooked any way you like (I prefer my medium rare) , along with a HUGE pile of string fries, salted to perfection. I've eaten there twice and it's the ONLY place I will go for a burger in Mac! Their margaritas are pretty good, but I'm hoping they will start serving Brierly Brewing gluten free beer, especially because it's homegrown right here in McMinnville.

We were looking for something “new” for date-night… this place delivered.

Thoughtful ambiance, yummy snacks, creative craft cocktails with fresh ingredients, and such a wonderful bartender! She walked us through our options (so many locally distilled spirits!) made recommendations, and explained the differences between an Old-fashioned and a Manhattan (without making us feel dumb!)

We were planning on grabbing dinner elsewhere after a cocktail, but ended up staying put.

Well worth the drive from Salem— we’ll definitely be returning.

Muleberry was absolutely delicious (eat the flower garnish - you'll thank me later). So was the poutine with brisket! The brussels sprouts were absolutely amazing!!! You know the crispy leaves that are the best part? Somehow they made the whole sprout like that. And just the perfect hint of sweetness. Would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Happy to stop by this place as we were passing through town, great drinks! Staff was super helpful and suggested what to get. Enjoyed the vibe of the place, excited to swing back through next time we are in the area!

The craft cocktails here are fun and creative, served with unique garnish. They have a nice selection of craft beers on tap as well. Good eats. Fun and trendy place!

This is a hidden gem. The best meal we’ve had in Oregon. The chef was amazing! Brussel sprouts, oh my goodness and the salmon salad was perfect. So happy!

We went there on a whim. The food was spectacular and beautiful the drinks we great! The staff went out of the eir way to make our experience outstanding!

#conservatorybar achieves a perfect marriage of cheeses and abundant, thinly sliced fresh pear. The rosemary-buttered sourdough pleasantly complemented the quince chutney to meld subtly with the sammie's main components. What a memorable dance the taste buds had. A delicious salad of greens with orange cardamom dressing stood-in as bridesmaids for the pairing. IMHO, this delicious offering was definitely prepared by a talented chef, whom I would recommend to cater any special occasion where you want the food to shine... because it will. Well done Conservatory Bar! Well done.

Friendly staff. Many of them have become a family, not a "clique" as the atmosphere is inclusive.
The drinks are invintive and great, as is the food.
I hope for a wider selection of kinds of beer and maybe rotate the suppliers.
Definitely, the place I go to enjoy outstanding poutine with brisket.

Fun cocktails. Warm and welcoming staff. We would definitely go back. We enjoyed everything about Conservatory. Perfect spot for a fun inspired drink.

An amazing experience with a great dark and calming atmosphere. I haven't been to a full bar in about 18 months and this place was a great way to get back to some normal.
We will most certainly be back!
