Great local pharmacy! It’s great to be at a local business in the Beacon Hill community where you can get personalized service from excellent staff.

My 2 year son was inpatient at MGH, it was Christmas Eve. He needed a specific medication compounded, the hospital could not do this. The place we normally go also could not, because it was Christmas Eve. He was able to be discharged and home for Christmas because Seth at Gary Drug made it happen.

We had a medical emergency while visiting Boston with my parents and we needed a wheelchair in a hurry. Seth was so kind and helpful and got us everything we needed. It was a friendly and helpful bright spot in an otherwise dark day.

This store is a gem. It has what you need. The customer service can not be beat. I stopped by with my daughter today. Among other items, she needed a ruler. They had extra ones which they gave to her free. They go over and beyond every time.

Never had a bad experience here! The people are very friendly and helpful and they’ve always had what I needed. Got my COVID booster here quickly, can stop in for OTC stuff, and have had no issues with medications when I’ve had them filled here. Highly recommend :)

What a gem! They don’t make ‘em like this anymore folks. Everything about the store is appealing from the shelf presentation to the contents, as well as the service. Friendly, congenial, professional. As an out-of-towner I was impressed.

I love these guys—even after we moved I continue to go there. They are extra knowledgeable, it’s easy to talk with the pharmacist right away with questions (versus being a cog somewhere else) and they are exquisitely careful about getting everything right

When I have travelled and needed stuff the big chains have had to order what would seem to be regular run of the mill meds (versus Gary has always had what I have needed).

There have also been a few times over the years where the pharmacist has come out to explain important info about the meds/med allergies based on my history that my doctors haven’t caught.

Plus they stock some awesome non pharma products, including Mason Pearson hairbrushes (an amazing gift for people with nice hair). There aren’t many authorized vendors and it isn’t unheard of for ones at online stores to be counterfeit.

Special, historic part of the neighbourhood...a remaining last glimpse of what Beacon Hill used to he before being run over by tourists and clothing boutiques. Great service, local feel, and has all the stuff you could need from emergency things to nicer high end products for hair and skin. Better place to get prescriptions than CVS (better privacy I.e. doesn't hold your info on file for life), and Gary is usually always around to chat and offer advice.

Gary Drug is the best pharmacy around. They are very accommodating and treat customers on a personal basis. They fill the prescriptions much faster than the chain pharmacies and are more competitive. I am spoiled by their great service.

Gary Drug Co is superb. My medications always delivered on time and the store has nice toiletries, canes and some medical supplies. wonoderful customer oriented staff.

Easy to find, close to the Charles/MGH T stop. Was able to get a prescription filled that required compounding.

I found this place because CVS was backordered for months on my prescription, but I’m glad I did because it is legitimately quicker to ride the T here and drop off my prescription and wait for it than it is to go 100 feet away to CVS.

Fantastic customer service. Very historical property too. This store had a long history and seems like a family owned pharmacy.

A true neighborhood institution, you call, they pick up the phone ready to help, when you arrive, everything is as it should be. They are putting the service back in the service economy!
