Continental Bakery

I ordered a birthday cake through Uber Eats for an instant delivery. Price was reasonable and they provided a complimentary service to write "Happy Birthday" on top of the cake, which was lovely. The cake came in a neatly wrapped box and tasted very good! I'm a happy customer 😊

Continental is a great Italian bakery. Love the Italian rum birthday cake. Cannoli, lobster tails, baba rum, all delicious and reasonable prices. Crazy what people will pay just a couple miles down the road in the north end when they could come here and feed an army for what they pay at the more well known Boston bakeries. Ignore the idiot who complained about deposits on orders. He’s the type who would probably stiff them.

My daughter asked for her birthday to be Wonder Woman themed 2 days before her birthday party. I called another bakery asking if they could make a Wonder Woman cake for 35 people by tomorrow (I know this is an unrealistic ask). Like expected, they thought I was nuts. I called Continental and it was no problem at all. Costumer service was great, cake looked and tasted great and everything went smoothly. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Highly recommend!

First time I’ve been to this bakery I ordered a Tres leches 1/4 sheet with Bavarian cream, peaches and strawberries in the middle and coconut on the outside I was a bit skeptical 🤨 when I picked it up because of the tin on the bottom of the cake 🎂 but it was a hit the cake was delicious 🤤 everyone loved 🥰 the cake. Amazing Cake and wonderful customer service !!!!!!!

I’ve never had a better chocolate cake for a birthday! I went in to order a cake last minute for a kids birthday. The baker wasn’t in BUT they had pre-made selections. The cashier was very friendly. We’re a picky family but this chocolate cake won over even the pickiest guests! I was sad that there was no cake left over for the first time! Loved it, we can’t wait to order another.

This is an awesome bakery! Their Scali bread is the best and they have DELICIOUS pastries!!!

Wanted to send a surprise Halloween cupcake delivery. I'm on the west coast so had no idea who could do this but spoke with Gabby, who made it happen. When my daughter said 'who made those cupcakes? they were really good', I knew this bakery was a winner because she usually never comments on the actual food.

My team ordered a blueberry pie delivered for my birthday. Honestly one of the best pies I've ever had. The filling was a perfect balance of sweet (but not too sweet) and gooey and delicious. The crust was soooooo good too. Reminded me of my mom's pie crust - which is definitely the bar I set! HIGHLY recommend!

I love this place Gabby the owner is an amazing person. Her and her Husband as well as their son all care about the customer. They did my wedding cake 18 years ago and have been doing everything for us since. They know customers by name and by what the customer usually gets. The counter staff are all great kids. They do have a team member by the name of Judy who has been with them for years. She makes sure to ask about our family. Sometimes people do things almost as if it is a requirement....not at this place these people really care. The pastry is amazing and you can still get miniature pastry at this location as well as bread and pizza

I ordered a cake for my son's 2nd birthday a week from his birthday and Continental Bakery were very prompt and had the cake ready at the time that I specified. I was even more pleased that I had asked for a "school bus" themed cake and the cake was beautiful!! Everyone gave compliments on the cake!! And the BEST part...it was delicious!!! I now know where to order cakes for future events! Many thanks!!!!

They made a cupcake engagement ring for me.

every birthday or just random days i want a cake or treats i’ll always come here! every cake ive gotten is always loved by everyone. stopped in friday for 2 birthday cakes, the cakes were amazing. dulce de leche & strawberry shortcake are my absolute favorites.

Wonderful cakes and quick and easy service!

I’ve been going to this place for so long it started with a note from my parents in one hand and some bills in the other back in 1982. I lived 1.5 miles from the place. Now I live approximately 45 miles and an hour drive away...guess where I STILL go? Don’t forget to snag a slice while waiting 😬

Continental Bakery is awesome sauce, they are very accommodating... If they don't sell an item, they will make sure the next time you come into the bakery the item is available for purchase. We order all our cakes from Continental Bakery!!
