Super cool guy at the counter hand cancelled my postcards and did a couple extra so it appeared more prominently.

I gave the wrong zip code to someone who was sending me something from Winslow. I called the Winslow post office and the nice lady found the package, corrected the zip code, and saved the day. I think her daughter works there too; this was the mom who helped me. Courteous, helpful, cheerful, and professional. We need more like her everywhere! Thank you!

I drove by the post office, the real reason was to see the "Eagles" tribute. It's amazing meeting people who travel there from Route 66 explorers and more.

Went in recently to mail a small package and get information for changing my address. The gentleman that helped me was very friendly and personable and I was very happy with the service.

Everytime I go in, the clerks are fast and friendly. There can sometimes be a line but they get through everyone really efficiently.

New manager is very unprofessional and hyper-confrontational. He's "right no matter what you say" attitude and won't admit he doesn't know the procedures of rural delivery drivers. We have always had a wonderful, helpful experience there with everyone. My mom delivered cake, brisket, and other perishable items and this guy expected me to let it sit there a week until the rural route driver delivered another package notice when the first one didn't arrive. The only option he left me was to wait at the neighborhood boxes all day and beg the driver for another slip. I had four forms of proof that the package belonged to me. No compassion, no discernment.

I'd had trouble receiving my mail due to the county addressing system changing my address to make it easier for first responders and the 911 system to locate my residence. I spoke with the postmaster and it was remedied easily. Recently, I was out of town. My 2 week trip became a 6 week jaunt. I had not put a stop on my mail delivery thinking I would be back fast enough and I usually do not receive very much mail. I was able to locate the phone number for the Winslow Post Office. I called, from Texas, and spoke with Andrew, the front counter Clerk. I explained to him my situation and he immediately handed me over to Arthur, the Postmaster. Not only did they hold the rest of my incoming mail for me, but Arthur, offered to have my Carrier pick up what had already been delivered to my mailbox. Living on a rural highway, this was such a relief. It was an unexpected offer of excellent service and I am so grateful to have caring and kind people like that in my hometown. Yet another reason, to love small communities. Unfortunately, USPS over the years has been moving more towards, communist boxes. The ones like inside an apartment or commercial building, but on a post. That means, your mailbox is actually anywhere from a mile to 10 miles from your home. Certain residents aren't included while others are told to remove the box they may have had for 18 years and use the new system. Wouldn't mind it as much if I didn't, all of a sudden, start having problems getting my mail (no parcels are ever delivered, even the size of a pack of cigarettes) in a timely fashion if at all.

A $200 item that arrived to this post office disappeared without much of an explanation. I still wonder who got a free gift.

I had a 20 minute talk with Postmaster in an attempt to have them deliver mail whenever possible. Today I was told that if it is not addressed PERFECTLY it will be sent back. In other words ANY excuse they can find to return your mail is exactly what they intend to do. Now this town is two off-ramps long. Everyone knows everyone and they want to play this game. Why would you take the job of Postmaster if your intention is to hurt the people you are supposed to serve?

Receiving an "attempted delivery " message is annoying but the truck never coming is even more agitating. Usps love to send each packages to weird and random check points all the time for the longest possible root.

The older blond woman working the window was very abrasive. Told me my package was not there, when i came back with my tracking number.....guess what.....there it was. I can see why their ratings are so low. As a government agency can't you do better than this. If you hate your job that much and are that miserable at work.......QUIT.
