Snowy River Motel

Office staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was not overly large, but perfect for a one-night sleep stay. Bed was comfortable, pillows were a little smooshed, but I learned a long time ago to bring my own pillows. A/C was *super cold*, it was excellent after a hot drive! Water in the sink and shower were hot and good volume. Towels were not super fluffy, but I've learned not to expect that. NO bugs, that's a big plus for me! I wondered, since I hadn't seen any comments about bugs in other reviews. My room was non-smoking, and had no smoke odors. Oh, and the hum of the A/C overnight provided just enough white noise to drown out any incidental noise from neighboring rooms and the traffic outside. I didn't notice any of the things that others had complained about in their reviews. I would stay here again!

After reading all these horrible reviews i was scared for what i was walking into for this long 3 day weekend.once we pulled in the parking lot i saw no trash or tweakers as ive read in other reviews.... the front office was very nice for having to get up in the middle of the night for us to check in.. we paid $70 for a room with 3 queen size beds in it.... no nasty smell as i walked in the door, already had the heater on for us so the room was toasty as it was freezing outside... the comforters did have a few stains on them but we had already brought our own blankets so that wasnt an issue... alot of cable tv channels, room was clean and had awesome hot water, better then my house! I would def stay here again & do not read all these reviews and make your desicions off of them. Its a cheap motel... yu get what you pay for people. I had a great time and so did our kids!!

It was a great motel for what you paid for. It was a bit small, but it was clean and the motel staff were nice. We left gloves in the motel room behind, but they shipped them to us for a small fee. It was really kind of them.

People were very nice . The rooms need some updating . But I think their working on that . The price was $48 for the night

Well definitely a dive motel. Place was clean maintenance is lacking but it's better than a cold night with the kids in a dusty tent. Camping is great when you want to. This is cheap easy and get a toilet and shower. Best part was we got the triple queen so each of us had our own bed for the price of a double somewhere else. Night staff was super friendly. Will stay again, it's spring break now and seems everyone went to the beach. It's awesome, quiet and cool. Sign says they have 4 and 5 bed rooms WHAT the WHAT! Perfect for faux-camping!

Management great, very helpful to a stranded traveler. Place is a little run-down but adequate for price. Everything worked, had adequate WiFi signal. Would stay here again.

It's a great place if you're on a budget the rooms are dated but the management is good and it suits my needs perfectly
