Ricardo's Grill & Pub

We are visiting Louisville and came through Versailles for the Railroad Explorers so we stopped here for lunch before. This place was a hidden gem on our trip - so much so that we came back a second time. The service from the staff, the atmosphere, and the food/portions were above any expectations! Such a great experience & we can’t wait to come back again.

OMG! I wish I could leave a 10 star review! Awesome atmosphere, Beth our waitress was phenomenal, I ate Potato Skins they were the best I've EVER had! My daughter ate a Hot 🔥 Brown that was to die for. We will be returning and telling everyone we know to eat there.

This place is great! Our server was really nice and attentive, especially since she said it was her first day. The pulled pork (they call it "The Bluegrass Conspiracy") was exceptional. It looks like an old train station stop. The serving team looks like they're constantly on their A game, they no sooner had a table cleared and someone came to wipe it down. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more often ☺

We stopped in for a quick cocktail & ending up ordering an appetizer too. The food smelled so good. Our potato skins were a little dry but still very tasty. Our server was excellent. Very friendly and checked on us numerous times even tho she was very busy. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and lots of seating choices. It was a hot afternoon so we sat inside, but they do have a nice outdoor seating area. Our bloody Mary's were terrific. Lots of TVs to watch sports.

Nice outdoor dining with a diverse menu. All special requests were met beautifully and our server was fabulous. We stopped on a whim returning home from the Bourbon trail and will definitely be back.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Ricardo's Grill & Pub. The quality of the food was truly outstanding, and the attentive service from our waitress made the meal all the more enjoyable. The ambiance was delightful, with a tasteful decor celebrating the Kentucky raceway and its equestrian heritage throughout the restaurant.

Located in a charming small town setting, Ricardo's offers the added charm of nearby old downtown shops, providing a lovely pre or post-meal stroll. My wife ordered the quesadilla, which she found delightful and even had enough to take back to our hotel. My Aunt, who was traveling with us, tried the potato boat appetizer and was impressed by the generous portion size, enough to share with the group.

As for my choice, the chicken philly with fries exceeded my expectations and stood out as one of the best I've had in a long time. Every aspect of our visit earned a well-deserved 5-star rating. Kudos to the entire team at Ricardo's for their remarkable service and culinary excellence!

The food & service was over the top delicious. The catfish platter was excellent. We tried a new appetizer of fried banana peppers. So good.

Our server Jada was awesome. We started with the fried banana peppers appetizers with ranch dressing instead of the cocktail sauce- these were really really good. Actually, all of our food was good - we had a hamburger with french fries, some chicken wings, an open face sandwich with a white sauce, and a pulled pork sandwich. And the place has a great casual ambience as well.

Went in around 9 pm, a very diverse crowd, which is absolutely beautiful. Lauren was our server, and she was very professional, informative, knowledgeable, and had a great personality. The food was very good, very fresh, as was the house Margarita. When in Kentucky again... we would definitely return to Ricardo's Grill & Pub.

Excellent lunch! Nice, quaint place. Great service! We had an appetizer of the potato skins, 5 large skins filled with cheese and bacon. We ordered a regular burger and a Philly cheesestake. The burger was was big and juicy on a nice soft Pretzel bun, alomg with perfect crinkle fries. The Philly was amazing! Not too big, well seasoned and tender meat, onions, peppers and mushrooms with melted American cheese. Amazing cheesy goodness! Comes with the house made kettle chips which were fantastic as well. Our 1st reausterant we stopped at to take a bathroom break 4 years ago cause we were lost. It was perfect. Watched races on T.V. at the bar. Won. Ordered appetizers, nachos, that were very good. Great place. 👍

Went for dinner. Seated quickly and service was good. There is a big variety on menu. Our party really enjoyed our meal

Service was great and food was delicious. We both got steak and side. The side salad was super fresh with what tasted like in house made dressing. The sirloin didn’t need any sauce the flavor was so good. The atmosphere is pub like and on a Saturday night it was a little loud so keep this in mind. The waitress was super friendly and kept our drinks full. The Mac and cheese was amazing!

Excellent place for dinner! Very unique atmosphere and history at this location. Our server was Jada and she took great care of us the whole time we were there. I greatly appreciated how the menu was clearly marked with gluten free items. Food was delicious!! I got the potato skins.

All I can say is OMG!! Believe me Folks, that's No Exaggeration!!! This is definitely a diamond in the rough… Ya gotta believe me!!! The food was PHENOMENAL.. The atmosphere was GREAT. The service was AWESOME!! We didn't expect to be blown away, but we were. My boyfriend is a tough critic and even he was wowed. That's say ALLLOOTTT!!! Kaitlyn A was our waitress and she was excellent. She was on top of everything made sure our drinks was filled and our food was delivered fresh and hot. I ordered the Rib Eye with Broccoli casserole and a sweet potato. Perry Perry Perry absolutely delicious delicious. My boyfriend ordered the house salad and added grilled chicken to it.. The grilled chicken was actually grilled and had a great flavor to it . We will definitely be back very soon.

It's so damn good, ribs especially, like seriously get the ribs, they peel off the bone so easily, the server was super attentive, the broccoli casserole is good, nothing special about the Mac and cheese or chips. They brought out a dessert as it was someone's birthday and they shared a bite of it and it was SOOOOOO good, highly recommend, especially the ribs.

Ricardos has great food and quick service. If you want a good meal at a reasonable price, then Ricardos is a good spot to visit. The catfish is always amazing. They have a variety of different comfort foods along with craft beers and a full bar.

Really good food and good atmosphere. UK game was on, and the whole place was having a good time. But quiet enough, you could have a conversation. Fast service and good prices. Look forward to going back.
