Wallace Station Deli and Bakery

The food was delicious. We got the chili, triple crown club, turkey with Brie cheese, and a side of pimiento cheese 💯 so very tasty! Riley, Makenzy, Levy, Lily & Caleb were all fantastic. They made us feel so welcomed. Keep up the great work! Will definitely be back when in the area. The drive along the way was beautiful scenery too!

I had the Wallace Cubano, and my husband had the big brown burger. They were amazing!! Normally I don't like sweet pickles but they were phenomenal on the Cubano. We also got dessert to go, had the chocolate bourbon pecan pie and some vanilla bean crank and boom ice cream with it. So good!! If you haven't been here yet you absolutely need to go!

A must stop in place. Seating can be limited. Delicious homemade desserts, cake and cookies. Down home fresh soups and sandwiches. I had the inside outside ham. Grilled on both sides with Monterey and tomatoes! White bean soup that my West, Va mother use to make! Really took me back to my roots taste. Don’t pass this treasure up!

Phenomenal!!!! The Wallace Cubano sandwich was fantastic!!!! The fries were excellent! What a great little dive and we had an excellent meal!!!

What a wonderful Place!!! It was 14 of us that went in yesterday and they got us right thru, food came quick and the whole place is just Awesome!! The drive is well worth it!! We All order something and share with each other, the pimento cheese and corn cookie were my fav! Please take the time to visit you will Not be disappointed!!! Finally ate at Wallace Station. I've occaisionally driven by this spot for nearly 2 decades but never stopped. It's a cute place with yummy food. There is a big field in the back that bored kiddos can run around in. Only thing I really wish they had was something for the kids to do or play with, that would make it fantastic!

Fabulous place to eat! Food is amazing and the only downside is seating availability, even if you get there early. When the weather is nice, there's a whole patio, but in cooler temps, tables inside are scarce. We had to get our food to go because all the tables were full at 11:20am.

Food was very good and extremely fresh. Perfect lunch spot. It sits right on a farm, about 15 minutes west of Lexington, with an amazing drive in. Very unassuming and casual. You order at a counter and then seat yourself, so check the menu before. Definitely go for the outdoor seating on a nice day.

Love stopping here when in town. Normally get one of their sandwiches but decided to try the Wally burger this time. It was good but I definitely think the sandwiches are where it’s at. Highly recommend taking a drive through the beautiful horse country to take a stop here for lunch.

Wallace Station definitely needs to be on your list - especially if you are touring the Bluegrass 🥰 The food is amazing with locally sourced items. If you are visiting try the inside out Hot Brown. That is a true taste of Kentucky. The bakery items come from the Midway Bakery just up the road. This is where all the locals eat.

The big brown is amazing and so is the Cubano! You must try the pies and ice cream!!!!

I love this place! We always visit when we are in town. The Hot Brown and Big Brown are some of our favorites but honestly everything is good!

When you first walk in, you'll notice the feel of an old-time country grocery store. It's not. It is a sandwich shop and baked goods restaurant, with moderate seating. DO NOT TRY TO GO HERE DURING LUNCH, or you will be waiting quite a while. Upon advice, we went at 11 and found it perfect. The sandwiches are huge, and delicious. You can tell the bread is freshly made. The staff is highly efficient. Really, just an incredible experience. I'm so glad I don't live near...I would gain a hundred pounds! Bravo, Wallace Station.

This little piece of history is fascinating. The staff were very open and friendly and the food was excellent. Highly recommended! Ham and Brie sandwich with chili. BLT with chicken and mushroom soup. And the Hot Brown sandwich.

Great sandwiches and baked goods in a historic building. This restaurant is off the beaten place, but the drive through Lexington horse country was pleasant. This restaurant has a lot of baked goods from Midway Bakery. Note: Wallace Station Deli and Bakery and Midway Bakery are owned by the same people.

The drive and scenery are amazing. You might spend $10-20 per person. However, the food is superb. They provide inside and outside seating, and it is well worth the trip to eat here.

Amazing place for appearances. This is such an unassuming establishment, in a historic building, but the food is much more than you’d ever bargain for, from the outside.

I can’t say enough about WS. The hot brown, Excellent!, burger, Excellent!, Ham & Brie, out of this world! I’ve done the Cuban sandwich, but it was not my favorite, hopefully it was an off day. The desserts are from Midway Bakery and are the perfect ending to an amazing meal.
Come as you are, and get some soup to warm up, or a sandwich to quench your hunger, but make sure to save room for dessert & and pick up some extra for home.

Such a cute and delicious sandwich place. Great for a quick bite on a warm day if you get a nice shady table. Friendly cat went table to table.

First time coming here, was about 2pm on a Weds and had 0 wait. Probably one of the best Cubanos I have ever had, hopefully get to come here again!

This place was recommended to me by a former UK student. Casual dining in the middle of horse country. You pass by vast horse pasture ranches and the occasional tobacco field on your way to this quaint little place. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Limited indoor seating but lots of room on the patio. Food was good and the relaxed atmosphere was welcoming. We arrived just after they opened on a Sunday and we went right through the line and got a table outside but there was a line out the front door shortly after. Looks to be a popular place!
