El Charro Mexican Restaurant

My husband and I live over two hours away. We came to visit my sons and My Friends of 30+ years. We decided to eat here because we knew the Food is Delicious and Great Service. Thank y’all!!🫔🌮🌯🍵🥤

We are always looking for good Mexican food. This place is great. The chips and salsa are awesome. Birria is pretty popular on the west coast and we were happy to find it here. The birria did not disappoint, it was great! We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

We were in there for lunch. Very fresh food and great pleasant staff. Yummy.

Great, great, GREAT authentic Mexican food. Being Hispanic and from the southwest, it has been a choir trying to find something close to those true flavors.
I could tell, as soon as the chips and salsa showed up at the table, that we were in for a taste of Mexico. Nothing was missing, and the flavors were deep in Mexican tradition.
The only true menu items missing were menudo and Carne asada.
We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

The best Mexican food I've had in a while.

I came to Kentucky for a wedding and happened to find this restaurant. It has a really nice atmosphere with attentive staff. The fajitas and potato skins appetizer were delicious. I will definitely come back on my next visit to this beautiful area.

The lady that greeted us at the door and seated us was borderline rude she pretty much just threw the menus on the table. But our server was very nice and accommodating and he checked on us quite often. The food was amazing and the margaritas were delicious!

My wife and I stopped in while vacationing in the area, and what a treat. I can honestly say that I had the best Mexican meal that I've ever had. I had the Molvajete, it was super spicy as requested and came with beef, chicken, pork and shrimp, with cactus,onions and jalapeno, all washed down with a great margarita. This clean and colorful restaurant is a definite must try.

This is our favorite Mexican place to eat. Have not eaten anything we did not like there! Service is always good and the wait is not usually long...unless it's crowded.

HUGE menu! They even have several non-Mexican food options. Food is good and decent portion sizes. Staff was friendly. Very bright, colorful, fun decor and furniture throughout restaurant.

This place is so good I came back the next day. The salsa is such an important part of a Mexican restaurant for me and this place does not miss. It’s truly perfect salsa. The quesabirria tacos are SUPERB. Cannot recommend this place enough.
