CVS

The pharmacy recently helped me when I was in a difficult situation with my insurance and my doctor. First off, the CVS Somerset pharmacy has made improvements since I moved into the area about two years ago. They have always been friendly toward me, but they seem to be more efficient now in getting medications filled and notifying me about the progress of my medication through text messages. I am also able to easily order medication refills through their automated telephone service and online website. However, what has really inspired me to write a review is how they helped me when my insurance wouldn't cover my medication and I couldn't get a response from my doctor's office to adjust my prescription or do a prior authorization. They used a discount program that brought the cost down from $500 to $77 so I could afford to get my medication and stop the withdrawal symptoms until I could get my medication adjusted by my doctor. The withdrawal symptoms were pretty difficult because I had been on this type of medication for several years and it quickly leaves your body when you stop taking it. I am self-employed and had to take time off from work which meant I lost pay. To be able to function again and feel somewhat normal was such a huge relief. The pharmacy didn't have to help me out since the issue was between my insurance and doctor. They had already done their due diligence by notifying my doctor. So I am so grateful to them for helping me.

One of my favorite stores to shop! Ashley always goes above and beyond to mae my shopping experience and pleasant one. She's always very professional and truly takes customer service to the next level!

I was having a bad time finding certain vitamin's that I needed to help with lowering blood sugar and this sweet lady named Candice from the front desk went above and beyond to compare what I needed to certain ones that contained exactly what I needed. If it where not for this lady I really would be sitting in the er with my loved one. She is awesome. Also showed me how to use the CVS coupons I always threw away. She really saved the day, give this girl a raise! She really should be manager. I have never had somebody worry about a customer like she did. And helped within minutes!!! She knows her stuff!!!

The pharmacist and the staff was very helpful with transferring my medications from Ohio to Kentucky and speaking with my doctor and CVS in Ohio very thorough. Never experienced anyone being rude. Seems like the busiest pharmacy in town so I understand the wait. Praise to them for doing the best they can considering the amount of customers.

Every time I shop at this CVS I am treated very nice by the staff. They go out of their way to help, and don't hesitate to answer any questions I have. I wish all other stores had this kind of people working for them. My kind of people.

Everything was good. Kind employee and clean place

Most of the staff is nice and helpful. Sometimes you can find really good bargains. They have sales and with coupons you can save. I was glad when they quit selling tobacco products.

Every time the doctor called medicine they're saying the doctor hadn't called it in yet this place is the worst place you can get your medicine I'm getting ready to change drugstore Dr call me some antibiotics in and they said there ain't got it yet I called the doctor today and they're said they're called again yesterday when I was went to the doctor so I've asked people not to use Cvs unless they're really have to use them I have waited 2 hours to get my medicine

The employees are so helpful and everything is in stock. The variety is great and store is clean always. Friendly employees.
