France's Diner

Last time I ate at Frances Diner is when they was at their original location, that was late 90's early 2000's before they moved. The food was great then and was amazing this time around. Came to Hazard to visit my father's hometown and Frances was the 1st place we stopped. I was in awww when I took the first bite of the biscuit and gravy, to know it still taste the same and they hadn't changed the recipe. My only complaint and if I could make a recommendation, consider adding a large portion of biscuits and gravy on the menu! (I didn't see it on the menu)
Overall: Great Food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. I highly recommend Frances Diner!

Cozy atmosphere serving excellent food. Catfish, fried potatoes and brown beans are tremendous.

It's just a good ole country diner with great-tasting food. Good service and if your stuck-up, don't go there. Lots of friendly conversation while waiting on your food. I definitely recommend it.

It's a wonderful mom & pop diner. The country food choices are things you can't get in a city. I had meatloaf the sauce is extra good! Others had fried green tomatoes and said they were good! Huge peaces of cornbread.

They had so many wonderful items on the menu that it was hard to choose. They had something for everyone and the prices were very affordable.

Lovely Place! Best little all night Diner! Frances still works everyday! Go if your in town! You will be glad you did!

The best food I've had in a long time. It was home-cooked and delicious. Highly recommend!

I love to eat there. The food that I've ate there was delicious. Breakfast is my favorite, and I love that you can have it anytime. The other food is great too. The service was great. They were friendly and went and got anything that you needed right then not after you're through eating. I've been eating there for at least 30 years, and I've never had a bad experience yet. My whole family loves to eat there, so I'd recommend it to anybody especially if you're looking for a good home meal without the cooking, but they also cook all different kinds of food. Also, they have the best hot fudge cake I've ever had. That alone is worth the trip.

Sweet cafe with lots of history in photos and decor. The food was a you'd expect from a diner- good but lacked a little seasoning.

We absolutely love this place we drive from Somerset at least once a month. Amber is the best. You have to try it you won't be disappointed.

Stopped in this evening as we were passing through Hazard. We had chicken dinners and the food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was very busy but still did an amazing job. We will definitely stop back if we're in the area.

Awesome food but service was slow. Took 45 minutes to get a burger.

Had a quiet, relaxed dinner near the fireplace. Will visit again soon.

Food and service amazing I'm from Wisconsin visiting this beautiful state and found this gem of a place and was blown away from great food and service 😊
