Pikeville Cut-Through Overlook

1st time here, something everyone should at least do one time here. Loved it and very quiet up here. You walk into the safety cage & look down at pikeville, actually amazing views from here.

This was a wonderful experience and a very beautiful place to visit. Forthermore; the overlook was breathtaking. Anyone who lives in the area or drives through the area I would highly suggested stop in, it's more than worth it...

Very pretty veiw. The look out cage can be intimidating even if you don't have a fear of heights.

Very beautiful view especially at sunrise or sunset. If you are stopping by pikeville, definitely come through and appreciate the views!

Nice peaceful location. Plenty to do horseback riding, Zipline, ball fields, playgrounds, picnic shelters and hiking trails.
The overlook has beautiful views. Will definitely go back to take pictures when the leafs are at peak color.

I'm from PA but was on a trip through the area and we stopped in. I thought it's a great place to observe the cut and you can see it from a complete different angle than just driving through the bottom!

Beautiful overlook of the Cut. Worth a stop. But, watch the steep narrow roads.

Over the years this place just keeps getting better and better
Great view and hiking trails close by and zipline also horse back riding. Even take a run through the woods on a great road jut behind the football field and running track and thats not all a Y is close by and a dog park and RV park so its well worth the trip

Educational. Biggest project of land moving in history. Also biggest project of rerouting s major river to protect the city of Pikeville. Also lots to do. YMCA, has walking tracks, soccer, football, baseball, tennis, volleyball, gym. Horse stables onthe top of the overlook
Plus now the Bob Amos Park Area Center is done. Beauty.
