Great cheerful service. I Love supporting local diners, and this one is one of my favorites I have visited. Food I okay, but service is awesome.

I walked in and could immediately smell the fresh biscuits. I ordered eggs over easy,biscuits with gravy and fried taters....yes I said it taters!!! When my order was ready it was brought to me by the owner/Cook. Man when I broke the biscuit open I could smell the buttermilk. As I was eating, the first thing entering my mind was my grandmother. I continued to eat and before long I had shed a tear, because I hadn't had a biscuit this good since my grandmother had gotten sick. But anyway this is a must stop if you're a true, country breakfast loving country folk. Oh and the bacon was cooked just right also. Crispy!!!

Stopped by for a quick bite, didn't want chain fast food. Food was great, service excellent and the lunch was prepared quickly. Definitely a "locals" joint but we felt very comfortable dining here.
Will try to stop by on the way back through on Thursday.

A hidden gem in the heart of Pikeville, Kentucky! My husband and I ate here for the very first time this past weekend. The food, the staff, the atmosphere...everything was perfect. Good home cooking and the best homemade cathead biscuits on the planet! This was our first time, but definitely not our last!

This is a real mom and pop greasy spoon. They treated me in my 5-year-old boy super well. And their prices are very reasonable. Outstanding value! It ain't no gourmet the artisan spot but I'll stop here every time if I'm in town.

Classic food at classic prices with a wonderful atmosphere. Wait was a little long but they were packed so its understandable. Definitely will be back!
