Pike County Solid Waste Department

A big Thank You for coming back and picking up extra trash I had even after they had already ran that morning. I very much appreciate it and so glad not to have it piled up until next week’s pickup. Again…Thank You Pike County Solid Waste workers!

My trash pickup is always on time and complete. The guys on the truck all seem nice and willing to listen to you.

The only criticism is that there isn't a lot of information available about paying bills or your account. I've never got anything in the mail, I don't know my acct number & I tried to set up auto pay with my card the one time I actually talked to someone, but it never worked.

I am rating the service at my residence where I live only. It is excellent.

Why do you not close the lid back on the garbage container....you tell me your not responsible for bags that are torn into to pick up the trash that is scattered all over the place....that I have to go clean up after you leave because your guys make a mess. .. what are we Paying for we should be paid back for,all the times we have to clean up the yard or replace a trash container we are suppose to supply to hold the garbage......but your workers never take a few seconds to close the lid so the birds and crows don't rip them up..I have put signs up please close this lid but they never do then if I'm not home my lid gets blown off and broken....how much time doe it take to do your job.... I think I'll just throw my garbage down on the road and not worry about it your department seems to get by with it...they scatter it everywhere! !!!!!

You leave garbage on the ground and throw lids on the ground as well and you cant get a hold of anyone at the office and the mailbox is conveniently full. Probably because they get so many calls about how good a job they're doing they simply cant take anymore calls because it would interrupt the fine job they do... How about giving some of my money back for doing your job?

Over two weeks without pick-up. Don't send another bill until you figure out how to do a pick-up. If I could give negative rating I would.

Not picking up any of my garbage where do they want me to haul it to
