Slim Chickens

Chicken lovers rejoice!
If you are looking for chicken, you are in the right place. From chicken wings, tenders, to sandwiches; Slim Chicken will scratch that itch.
I ordered the five piece chicken basket. That comes with tenders fries and Texas toast. With a choice of two sauces on the side. (I picked Korean BBQ and Siracha garlic)
The chicken was flavorful and juicy. The breading was seasoned well. The sauces were also really good. Texas toast was very buttery and tasted well. The fries were also expertly seasoned and fresh.
The only downside is that we don't have a Slim Chicken where we live. Hopefully, they will make it our way eventually so we don't have to wait long for another amazing chicken dinner.

9/2023: A great place for chicken tenders! Food here is allegedly cooked to tender so while you may have to wait a few minutes, it comes out piping hot. I am skeptical of the tender sizes - they’re definitely on the smaller side. But staff during our visit was super friendly and offered to replace dipping sauces if we didn’t like them; I believe they charge for extra sauces normally. Highly recommend!

I love this restaurant. I’m a door dash driver and I regularly pick up orders from slim chicken. There’s so many people that love eating from here. I think slim chickens in Pikeville Kentucky has the best customer service and there employees are so nice here. I also love love there Oreo cheesecake in a jar dessert it’s so delicious!! 😋

I LOVE this place. Every time we go to Kentucky we try to stop by. The fact that they over delicious grilled tenders puts them ahead in my book. Wonder how much to open a franchise in Michigan?! It would be SO popular!

Crispy chicken sandwich was great and the mac and cheese was wonderful 😋 Should've gone a bit easier on the ice. They didn't have the Strawberry Cheesecake Jars when we went through but the brownie one was good.

Food was really good. A little difficult to read the menu because of the small print on the board but all 9 of us enjoyed our food.

I have ate at this location dozens of times. Food has always been great. Excellent for a quick lunch. Love the Buffalo Mac n cheese.

Edit: last few times I have visited this location over the last couple of months they have messed our orders up. To the point that I will no longer visit this location. Service has gotten terrible.

This is another restaurant that while visiting family we always swing by for food. Their chicken fingers and fries hit the spot. Both are cooked to a perfect crisp. Make sure to come with an empty stomach because you'll be upset if you can't finish it without overwhelming yourself with great food.

Awesome experience! The Manager Richard went out of his way to make our group feel welcome while having our business meeting there. The food was freshly prepared on Mew Years Day. Quality visit, quality food, excellent customer service. 5 star experience all the way around.

I do love going in and eating. They are always nice and pleasant. Drive thru they are the same. Every time we head to Pikeville we make sure they are a stop, even if it taking home.

I love the environment and the wait staff are fantastic. The food is absolutely amazing. I would say even better than Raisin Cane's! Try the garlic parmesan sauce, it's the best I've ever had.
