If I could give 10 stars I would!! This place is the best!! I absolutely love the food, service is always top notch and beautiful views being on the fourth floor.

I was in Pikeville for work was craving Mexican food so I googled and found this place kind of one of them. That’s hard to find a lot of locals, but it was delicious. I had a California chicken burrito it

I had to encourage them to do something special for my girlfriend's birthday in 6 days because it wasn't today. Almost downgraded them to 4* because they charged for the dessert but food was delicious and reasonably priced.

My mother and I were visiting Pikeville for my grandsons "1st rock n roll birthday party" and we decided to try this restaurant that was in our hotel. The staff was amazing, the man at the front complimented our t shirts ( mine was Kiss) ..then he had such friendly conversation with us and the proceeded to show me a picture of him with Gene Simmons from Kiss lol!! That was so awesome but then the food arrived. Wow!! I believe mine was tacos El pastor with marinated pork and pineapple with fresh tortillas!! It was perfect and soooo incredibly delicious!! we will be back every time I get to visit my grandson!! Thank you!

I'm a very picky eater and we'll traveled. This is the best authentic Mexican restaurant I've ate at except one in Lorado TX but that's given. Extremely fast and reasonable pricing

So, we showed up late late after the Vanilla Ice concert. They welcomed us in and fed us. We didn't want them to have to break open the entire kitchen so the wife got three beef hard tacos and they let me choose the Steak Taco, a Tamale, and a chalupe. After a loud and energetic concert it felt great to eat some delicious authentic Mexican grub!

Amazing staff!! I came in a touch late!! The manager waved me over. Took my order with a smile!! 15 minute turnaround!! Food was fantastic, extra even!! Thank you!! The only place I will frequent in this town!!

Nice restaurant and to me you get a lot of food, reasonably priced. The service was good, everyone was really friendly. I had fajitas which was well cooked and the food came hot and fresh, made to order. The best part is they have fried ice cream!

I want to add some clarification as someone who's been a local of Pike County off and on for 20 plus years El azul has existed in several locations. In that time
in recent years they have opened a second location I do not like the second location out by the Walmart and have spoken to many people who do not the people who run it there don't spice the food properly the service is not as good and the people are not as attentive and friendly as the people who run the original location I am saying this because there is a lot of bad reviews of this restaurant on here and from what I can tell from the pictures most of these bad reviews come from the additional location out by Walmart I do not recommend that location I do not like it I do not like the food there I do not like the service there and I have complained to the management in the original restaurant about the issue and they are aware of it and have heard it a lot
I highly recommend if you want a good authentic Mexican food in Pike County, Kentucky, go to the original location, run by the original people in the landmark hotel on the 4th floor, that is the better. Restaurant and I have been eating there for 20 plus years, a lot of the people who work there, know me recognize me, and most of the time, know what I'm going to order before I order it, some of the waiters even bring me my tea without me asking because they know I'm going to order tea, so I highly recommend the El azul on the 4th floor. Of the landmark.....not the one out by Walmart
if you want good service and good food, there's where you need to go.

Very satisfied will come back when I'm in town again. Staff was good, food was good recommend caldo de Pollo, and their enchiladas. Thank you for feeling my stomach. Great prices.

I have never had my food messed up and it's always on time and the workers are super nice and they don't acgervate you only when you need them. Best place in the valley to eat.

They were excellent, I ate twice as much as other local mexican restaurants, it had superior taste and the ambiance was incomparable to anything else locally. I would go further to add that the quality exceeded the quantity even though I couldn't complain about either!!

This is my favorite Mexican place hands down and I have been to many many Mexican places in my lifetime. Fastest service I have ever experienced anywhere. Worth your time and money. Go there, just trust me.

excellent food, super reasonably priced, quick service (but you won't be rushed to hurry and easy and leave!) Super friendly staff. 12/10 would recommend.

As always one of my favorite places to eat. My personal favorite is the fajitas El azul, the dinner for two is more than enough good food to stuff two people and have some to take home. Another great thing I like is when you order a sweet tea you actually get some sweet tea lol.

This is my favorite place to eat in pikeville. It's been a while because of the virus but felt good to finally get out and enjoy a great meal with my old lagy trishia roberts and just chill out. Best restaurant in town!!!
