Pikeville-Pike County, KY Welcome Center

I picked up a t shirt and coffee mug as well as a couple of pamphlets and map. Helpful staff who answered all of my questions. They have a small selection of trinkets and quite s few books on local history, focusing mainly on the Hatfield McCoys and Loretta Lynn.

It took me a second to find the little place, but once I did I was met with a warm welcome. The guy was super nice and informative. Didn't try and push anything off on me or anything. In fact, pretty sure he was trying to tell me not to buy the Hatfield and McCoy's audio tour CD because the map was free. Ps. Don't buy the audio tour!!

It's wonderful that there is a group of people so actively promoting our home! I love seeing all the tour busses bringing tourists into our area, but that's not all! There are many interesting things for people who live here, too. The Hatfield McCoy driving tour comes to mind first. It's an ideal way to spend the weekend with family and friends! Thanks Pike County Tourism for all of these opportunities!

We stopped in during Hillbilly Days and enjoyed our visit. The information we received was helpful and the t-shirt we purchased was very nice.

The staff was very knowledgeable. They were able to answer any additional questions we had. We were able to learn history and see important sights. Highly recommended.

This is a great start to learning about pikeville, coal country, Hatfield and McCoy and other history. They sell an audio driving tour with a map and sell pictures, books, videos, and touristy items like cups and keychains as well as jams and salsas.

Great organization that helps show the beauty and heart of our culture and area. The guys in the office are also very knowledgeable and friendly. A+

Friendly staff and very knowledgeable of the area and the Hatfield and McCoy feud. A lot of interesting souvenirs. Good prices on their souvenirs.
