Irene's Real Mexican Food

Great place to eat Mexican food when you are in Globe or passing through from Show Low/Mountains.
This trip I brought my 90 yr old Dad up with me to visit some gravesites and go eat Mexican food which is always a ritual with my family. (We love to eat out especially Mexican food).
Irene's Restaurant was very clean including the bathrooms.
Place was decorated cute with colorful flowers, and service was excellent. Jennifer, our super friendly server, was right on top of evening that we needed and even brought 2 boxes and bags for our leftovers and chips to take home too.
The music that was playing was pretty good too. Some country, some new music but overall good, happy music.
We will definitely recommend this place to others and we will be back soon!

After a long trip with my mom and grandparents we ate here and the place was nice. Great service and food. Pretty clean too. Highly recommend eating here after a long trip. ❤

My family and I visit Irene’s all the time and the service is always amazing! Alisha is the best and takes care of everyone. We were just there yesterday and Jennifer was super friendly and food was great!

Globe/Superior is your go-to place for mexican food in Arizona and Irene's doesn't disappoint. I stop here every time I come through town. It's fast, good and the price is right. Their salsa has just the right amount of heat.

Always has some of THE BEST Mexican Food in Globe. The service was good. The waitress came around us and gave us refills when we needed them, without having to ask her! Atmosphere has only 4 stars because the music was just a bit too loud. The restaurant is clean.

I ordered twice and I enjoyed both of my meals. I would definitely recommend this place.

Came in late off a road trip, and the food was delicious and exactly what we were looking for in a Mexican restaurant. Great experience, will be back.

The Reynoso, Viallabos family is AWSOME. Best Mexican food on AZ any family resturant.

I love this place, green chili enchiladas are my husband’s favorite. Jennifer is there most nights and is an amazing server.

Got the combination plate, número 10. Taco, enchilada, chili relleno, rice and beans. Food was a little slow to come out, but that's expected when the place is bumping. Would definitely come here and try something the next time we travel through Globe.

Food was A-1 .The best chilli reillno(sp)weve had since for ever.

The portion size of a combination platter was just right for my wife and I to share.
Everything was cooked well and the flavors were as expected.

Great chips and salsa. The food was good also over all. A nice hometown place to eat.

I stopped in for a late lunch and early dinner. My favorite to order from here are the cheese burgers 🍔. Always the best.

We had a great meal at Irene’s last night, consisting of a green chili crisp and a chicken chimichanga. Both were tasty and the server was great, taking the time to tell me how the crisps are made. Not much to it but I’ll certainly try it at home because they were delicious. The other thing I really appreciated was the fact the restaurant was as clean as it could possibly be with none of the sticky tables and floors and dog eared menus one often finds. The restaurant itself is somewhat humble but generally had the look of being owned and operated by people who take a great deal of pride in what they are doing. Give it a shot, I bet you will like it!

My third home is right here. The greatest people with the best service. Every visit is welcoming and warm. The best food in town, no matter what you order, it will take you away and bring you home. Honestly, if I were rich, I'd eat four times a day at this restaurant every day an night. This is real food people.

I love the beans, I moved back from boston recently and I asked my sister to take me to Globe so I could eat at Irene's.
We drove from Fort McDowell just to eat there and it was worth it.

I have gone to this place since I was a kid, they have some great food, friendly staff, and comfortable atmosphere
