We didn’t plan ahead for the weekend in Paducah, but we hit the food lottery when we landed a couple spots at the bar on a Saturday night.

I absolutely loved this place and the food was phenomenal! The flavors were really something special and I hope to find myself in Paducah again for another outstanding meal.

We absolutely loved everything! Awesome waitress that answered all of our crazy food and drink questions. She made recommendations that were so helpful. We will definitely be back when we are in Paducah.

Team loved the delicious food and desserts! Every dish was meticulously thought out and special in its own right. The owner/legendary-chief checked on us and made sure to make us feel like family. Definitely a gem to visit when in Kentucky 🤩👍

If I could rate the food 10 stars, I would. Best food I've had in years! I can't wait to go back. Service was also wonderful.

Went for our anniversary, did make reservations and was seated immediately. Waitress was very attentive and helpful. Dinner was served in a timely manner and was very flavorful. Dessert was excellent.

Everything from the crackers and cheese to the cocktails and the dessert was dynamite. I see why the Sara Bradley is on Top Chef. We loved our waiter, the bartender was so good. The interior is nice. There was no wait to be seated. Such a great meal and dine in experience overall!! 10/10 would return!

Fabulous dinner and evening. We came specifically to congratulate chef Sara and had a wonderful dinner. Icing on the cake? Her pea cake from the top chef 20 finale. My favorite was the pasta, with added pork belly. Just meltinyourmouth delicious.

This is a quaint spot just off the main downtown strip. The building was cool! The food was great. The service was wonderful 10 out of 10 best date night restaurant in Paducah.

It’s hard to put into words just how much I enjoyed our meal yesterday evening. The parisian gnocchi blew my mind, it may have been the best dinner I’ve ever had! Jodie was our server and we were so appreciative of her kindness and for her excellent recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

This was the best experience I have had in a restaurant setting. We sat at the chefs table and got to watch all the happenings in the kitchen as well as Chef Sara running things and mentoring her staff. We were able to ask the kitchen staff questions, and they were awesome! The food was more than delicious. Everything we had was seasoned perfectly. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. The cocktails Inwish Incould have had one of each. They're oustanding! I even got a signed menu so I can frame it for my kitchen with our picture! I highly recommend taking a car, plane, train, bike , scooter to Freight House in Paducah, Kentucky as a destination! After dinner we purchased a cocktail in a sip and stroll cup (that is what I am calling it) and was able to walk along the river/flood wall looking at the murels painted and enjoy the breeze. This was suggested by Chef Sara! Overall, I can not say enough. We will be back!

A fine eating establishment that lives up to the buzz. Chef Sara, winner of Chopped and Top Chef blends together delicious flavors and offerings that satisfies and leaves you wanting more. Not cheap but well worth the price.

Absolutely TOP NOTCH FOOD!
The service was fantastic, we didn’t make a reservation but they still found us a table…mind you we showed up to eat at five. No steak, no grits, no nothing will ever top this meal. We travel quite frequently and this meal made out top five, his number two, considering his first one on his list was in time and number one for me.
People are sleeping on this charming town… the food, the people, the place… perfection.

My wife and I visited on our Anniversary while traveling through Kentucky. We really enjoyed the food. The seating was different, they seat people next each other even though there is plenty of other open seating. It wasn't a problem, just a little odd.

Really really loved my experience at Freight House! I enjoyed everything I ordered. The staff was super friendly as well! I got the grilled caesar, smoked fish dip, BBQ egg roll, crab tostada and whooped goat cheese fluff.

This was the most amazing meal! I loved the heart felt energy in the restaurant as a whole. We’ve enjoyed cheering head chef Sara Bradley on as we saw world Top Chef unfold. (She was my top chef choice as I loved her story, entrepreneurship, and focused family values.)

The reservation was easy and it was exactly as expected - top notch.

Appetizers and starters were as beautiful as art and they tasted so amazing!

The entrees were all unique and my tastebuds are still cheering as I remember every sensation from this meal days ago.

Don’t miss dessert - we shared two to have more tastes.

There was not one thing here that we ate that was a miss. From the moment I called to make the reservation to the moment we walked out the door, the staff was inviting, friendly, and more than capeable. Sara Bradley has created a menu that is filled with inventive dishes that are at the same time something new but also feel familiar and comforting. The kitchen staff does not miss a beat when it comes to excuting the brrilliant dishes.
We drove five hours to come here for dinner, we regret nothing and will do it again.

I made a solo reservation few days before I went to the restaurant and had an excellent experience. I ordered the $72 tasting menu and enjoyed every dish. I did not do the wine pairing and instead ordered a couple of cocktails, High Fashion which was ok and Basic Instinct which was good. I felt the deviled egg was just ok.The chilled melon soup and the Kentucky silver carp were my personal favorites and I highly recommend. For dessert I had the chocolate buttermilk pie which was very sweet, but delicious. The staff was kind and attentive which made me feel comfortable dining alone. This is a place I'd go back to and I look forward to my next visit.

We visited right after work before the dinner rush and were seated immediately. Such a fun place! The menu changes seasonally to provide the best tasting ingredients from local farmers. I highly recommend the Sara's Dirty Deed cocktail. It was the best cocktail I've ever had.

We wanted to try everything so the tasting menu with wine pairings was the way to go. Everything about our experience was delightful. We sat on the screened porch. Our server was great and you could see that the whole staff was working together to ensure a great experience.

We had a party of 15 and we all had a great time. All of our appetisers were so good that I didn't even have a chance to take pictures of them. I did get pictures of the main dishes but I regret that I can't name them all. I had the New York strip and it was absolutely delicious but watch out for the orange stuff on top. It is hot! I don't do well with anything spicy so I just put it to the side. We also had a few drinks. I had a drink that was homemade pickles juice and vodka. It was well liked (because everyone kept trying mine. Lol Our desserts were really delicious too evidenced by everyone going around the table, spoon in hand, sampling everyone else's dessert. Bottom line is really top quality food in an inviting, fun atmosphere. We even got pictures with the chef!
