There are some gentle ups and downs, but overall it is well maintained and easy to walk on. Each bridge had a number. You can walk along the water while watching the birds. It was a quiet and nice place.

Highly recommend! Beautiful 3.25-mile trail that loops around the almost crystal clear waters of Fagan Branch Lake. Very well maintained, with plenty of trash cans, benches, and picnic tables along the way. Fairly easy trail, with some moderate inclines, some parts may be a bit challenging for those less experienced. Be sure to follow the red trail markings.

P.S. As always, be sure to check well for ticks afterward.

If you enjoy solitude this trail is for you. It was well maintained mostly an easy hike nothing too hard. The trail has 41 bridges which was interesting, great views of the lake and a nice long grassy trail over the earthen dam that was great to bare foot across.

What a wonderful, quiet experience. Trash cans line the trail so no excuses for being a litter bug.

I absolutely love this trail. Never crowded, always cleared. Very beautifully built wood bridges. All 46 of them.

It was beautiful place and you will half to walk lol but it was nice I'd like go back whenever I can and when I can get away there!

Trail is great, a nice workout, and beautiful, the only thing is the trash cans are often full and litter in multiple places. There's also some bridges starting to become rickety as there's even one missing a board.

Beautiful lake & trail that they take care of and keep cleaned up pretty good. People like to spray paint the dam portion of the lake so they are currently in the process of putting cameras up I heard. If you have never heard of geocaching, this is where I got my first start doing that, check it out, it's pretty fun stuff!

A very pleasant hike around the lake. Rough terrain, all natural path way with a few small man made bridges. A few benches and places to sit along the way. Plenty of angles for nature shots.

BEWARE OF TURKEY MITES ON THIS TRAIL. My family and I along with our dog hiked the full 3.2 mile trail 8/29/20. Had a great time on this beautiful trail, however we got into some turkey mites, seed ticks, whatever you prefer to call these little devils. We were not well prepared and did not use bug spray, so if you go soon use a lot of bug spray, wear long pants tucked into long socks or whatever might keep the ticks away. Highly recommend this place, lake is so clear. We'll be back hopefully sometime soon.

Very pretty hike. Not to difficult. We did not hike the whole trail but did enjoy our hike. Jad a small picnic. Then sat on a lakeside bench for a while. Would love to return for a longer hike

This is just simply a beautiful place! It is the quietest place I have been in a long time. And that is the clearest water I have ever fished. The trail is great!

Solid 3 mi trail run that is consistently technical, particularly when wet. Beautiful views all the way around the lake.
