Always good food at this legendary local eatery. Lunch is typically better than dinner but both are great. Daily specials. If you don't see what you want, just ask - they probably have it.

Delicious food, delicious fried pie, excellent service, great quiet homey atmosphere. Absolutely nothing to complain about, except for how far it is from home. We had the fried chicken and the pork plate, everything was excellent. The sweet tea was as good or better than any I've had in my life, the pork was perfect, tender, flavorful, spicy. The sides were all great, the squash, Mac and cheese, perfectly seasoned, great home cooked tasting food. The potato salad reminded me of what my mother made 15 years ago. After paying, we decided on a peach fried pie to take with us, and it was amazing. Tender, fluffy, buttery crust, dusted with sugar and filled with sweet, tender peaches. Can't beat that, absolutely recommend if you're in the area. They also had a drive through and carry out, however you get it, I'm sure it's great.

Have been wanting to get a pulled pork sandwich from Roy's for quite a while now. Today was the day. I learned they smoke their own and my pork sandwich was really tasty. Also, got a piece of fried catfish and some baked beans with unsweetened iced tea. All was really good and will go back another day. Food was brought out in just a several minutes. Apparently I arrived before the lunch crowd because the dining room was filling fast. After I got outside, I could see a line at the drive through. Apparently lots of people like Roy's food. Clean restroom. Plenty of parking spaces.

Every aspect of the meal was incredible. From the service to the fresh and masterly prepared food was top quality. The catfish is outstanding as is the cucumber salad and lemon icebox pie. This is the best meat and three I've ever eaten at.

I don't have enough words to explain how much and the reasons why I love this place. We've been twice since moving to the area and we are planning on going back on multiple occasions! The food is amazing, service is great. Great small town feel to walking in and being greeted. Definitely a must go to location for some hometown cooking and BBQ! Even their catfish is delicious!!!!!

They was definitely at max capacity between 11-12. Waited less than 5 minutes for a table. Table was cleaned immediately after customers left, ready for us. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Service is quick. Great country cooking. My fish, hush puppies, onion rings, and fried okra was cooked to perfection 🥰

BBQ and sauce is AMAZING. Potato salad, Cole slaw, Turnip greens, hashbrown casserole are my Husband's favorites. Service is Friendly, Caring, beautiful smiles. Maria(Sparkplug) is our Favorite. They treat You like Family.

The BBQ on cornbread is absolutely great and the ladies are very nice they even offered me water for my dog. You can bet every time I go through Russellville I will be stopping .. oh yeah grab a fried pie....

I'm from Louisville, KY my wife is from Russellville. That being said, their service is why I love local small family restaurants. Food was very good and cooked with love. The staff treated me and my family like their own family. The place was clean and well kept.

There is nothing better than your hometown BBQ joint. I have been all over the south and spent significant time in KC and Memphis on work trips. There is nothing better than Roy's baked beans. Love everything we get from here.... Pork sandwiches, catfish, cole slaw, fried mushrooms, and fried pies... All comforting and satisfying.

We love the Ribeye sandwiches, and the people are always cheerful when we go. ❤

A must visit destination if you are in the area. It came with highest recommendations from our local friends. It did not disappoint. If you are a fan of great, home style cuisine then do not pass this by. They feature signature catfish (prepared in a variety of options both fried and otherwise), barbecue and fried and barbecue chicken. There had to have been at least 10 daily fresh made side dishes. Do not forget to grab a few peach and apple fried pies for the road. Comes with highest recommendations!
