Shawnee Library

A lovely experience in yet another beautifully restored old building. The best part is the gigantic connect 4 game in the kids section!! For personal reasons that was a bittersweet find.

Wonderful Branch ... Excellent staff, very helpful and kind-hearted.

I love the LFPL. The Shawnee branch staff is a huge asset to our community.

The librarian was great help save my business , with her help I was able to compete paper work on the computer I didn't understand . Thanking her and the city of Louisville the Library is still in my neighborhood , most and first our GOD people still care for our young and old !!!

It is modern, and most kids can find what they need,
It is small,
But a nice library, for local kids,

They have an amazing variety of books, I also love how diverse they are as well. It seems pretty clean, there are hand sanitizer dispensaries all around the library, there are beautiful statues/art pieces & it's just an overall good experience. I definitely recommend this library if you live near the Shawnee area or Broadway ☆☆☆☆☆

Me and my fiance took an art class here and the library provided all the materials and space. The instruction from John Roach was fantastic, the librarians were all really friendly and helpful, and everyone who attended the class got along great. Unfortunately we had to stop the class because of budget constraints. Our libraries need more funding!

There was a female and a male present today and they sat for about twenty minutes helping me with a book ive been searching for, for weeks. No other library could help me. They were so friendly and respectful and honestly deserve a raise the girls name was Ashley.

The needle art group at Shawnee Library was fantastic! I enjoyed making new friends and look forward to the next one.

The Library is well taken care of and the staff are friendly and willing to help out. The atmosphere is clean and neat. A good place to study, read, and ponder.

This is a very comfortable, warm, mentally stimulating place for everyone in the community

A very nice library. The staff there is very helpful and very nice. The only issue there is that parking is very limited there.
