The Sporting Club at the Farm

We were visiting Bardstown and always pack the shotguns when we head off for an adventure. So glad we found this place to spend a day shooting. We had a great experience shooting clays. As soon as we walked in Bobby made us feel like we have known each other for years. Great course and beautiful views. We look forward to coming back next year.

As a wedding photographer, when Taylor and Nick reached out and told us they were getting hitched at the Sporting Club at the Farm, we realized we had never worked at the venue before even though we were based in Louisville. We tell all of our couples now that are interested in an outdoor ceremony that is fun and exciting for the guests that this is a gem! The guys started their day at the shooting range while the girls had a rustic home on the property to get ready in. The space is expansive and was incredibly accommodating on a warm September night to create a beautiful atmosphere to photograph and be part of! We can’t wait to work here again soon!

First time going here. I did the Ladies Only intro to Sporting Clays class. I have never shot at sporting clays before and it’s probably been 20+ years since I’ve had the opportunity to shoot a shotgun.
Our instructor Bobby was great! He made you feel comfortable, gave great instructions, and made the class a ton of fun.

I participated in the monthly 3D target shoot which was well designed, and the area was beautiful. I’m a novice archer, and will certainly be returning as the staff was very friendly too. We all laughed when I tried hitting a 50 yard target across the lake with my 35lb recurve, but the arrow landed in the water and hit a fish!

Gorgeous venue with amazing staff! I am a professional wedding planner, and have worked at many many venues across the country, and The Sporting Club at The Farm is definitely one of the greats! It is absolutely stunning, and I can not say enough about every single staff member working there! They were all so friendly and helpful! Anything we needed they jumped right in without even asking (even had some men help hang flowers)! The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the bridal suite is to die for!! Unfortunately it rained the day of the wedding, but they had a great indoor backup space that worked out beautifully! I will definitely be recommending this venue to future brides and I cant wait to work in this space again!

The farm is an amazing venue, our work annual meeting has been held here for the past 5 years. In those years we all have created amazing memories and look forward to returning each year. Lori, Bobby, Brook, and Todd make planning and coordinating our event seamless and easy! A must see venue!

My son spent two days at the Farm before Illinois State Championship - they have 3 Five stands and a solid Sporting Clays course - Bobby is awesome and cares about shooters getting targets they want to see.

We celebrated our daughter’s wedding reception at the Sporting Club at the Farm this past weekend and it was everything our daughter had envisioned. This was our first wedding to plan and the Sporting Club staff was incredible. I can’t say enough about their customer service. Especially Jennifer, who is so incredibly generous in sharing her expertise and information to help get us pointed in the right direction from Day 1. The day of the event everyone was so supportive and helpful - it certainly exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful well kept grounds, friendly staff and great Sporting Clay's course. The private hunt we had was great fun. Have not tried the fishing or archery but am looking forward to learning from their instructor. The Sporting Club is best in class for the area and we're grateful for all the memories they've given us. God Bless

By far one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in this area. The owner and his staff are extremely professional and you can see the passion they have for the sport. Bobby Brooks spent almost 2 hours with us, teaching us, and having a good time. I’m a novice so him taking the time to help us was really awesome. I would highly recommend you check this place out!!!

It was very cold, but we pulled through. This venue is beautiful. The barns are well kept, and the old Victorian home on the property is just gorgeous. I loved the ambiance. The decor & staff were great <3
