Dr. Raquel F. Vasquez, MD

Dr. Vasquez is very knowledgeable in her area of expertise. The wait wasn’t very long and her office staff was very nice. I would recommend her for anyone needing a pediatric psychiatrists. She doesn’t push medication and does well in speaking with children and understanding them.

She talked really hateful to my grandson I stopped taking him to see her I found wellsprings in Somerset and she changed his meds and he’s like a different kid would not recommend Vasquez

Will not be returning. After I got home and expressed my concerns to my spouse, whom like me, is also a healthcare professional, he instantly agreed that it was a huge red flag for her to say the medications she wanted to prescribe had no negative side effects. NO medication is 100% safe. Every patient is different and all can experience possible adverse effects. When I asked if she was familiar with MTHFR gene mutation which my daughter has, she curtly said yes and that she thinks it has nothing to do with my child’s behavior….My child who is being seen for behavioral issues, and MTHFR being a vitamin deficiency that can emotional instability and further adverse effects to emotion and behavior when left untreated….which she believes isn’t a connected issue….either way we were left very concerned about her practice and my SO said he’d rather pay cash with another professional then return to her office.
