Ramada by Wyndham Paintsville Hotel & Conference Center

We stayed here for 4 nights over Thanksgiving and the staff are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. My back normally hurts after a night sleep but the beds here where so comfortable I slept better then I do at home. I need to order one of those mattresses. The pool is awesome too. I'd say the only down side to this hotel is there is no free breakfast, but a great place to stay for sure. We have family in the area and we stay here at least once a year.

Many wonderful details make this a hidden gem. The hotel is has ALL the amenities; vast halls to roam, pool/ hot tub, games, couches, conference areas, tables to work, multiple restaurants… really good maintenance… not only is the property taken care of, the cleaning staff did great and the FRONT DESK were exceptionally nice. Love the cast iron stair cases and “Main Street” USA design to first floor.

Be a good hotel to get work done and have a meeting to not get too distracted but still with beautiful surroundings.

Not mention god himself came down and sculpted these hills and hollers in KY, certainly beautiful.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. Be sure to have cash for breakfast tho. This hotel doesn't offer a complimentary breakfast, but it was a full menu and the food was made fresh and was very delicious.

The place felt like a premium experience. The pool is awesome, and the decor and spacious interior is quite charming. Restaurant is a bit hit or miss though.

Our 2-night stay at the Ramada was very pleasant. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at the Breakfast Cafe and Honey B restaurant was reasonably priced and very good.

It was an extremely nice hotel with all of the amenities one could ask for. The property is very well kept with a restaurant/lounge and indoor swimming pool all on the premises. A friendly and knowledgeable staff is willing and able to help you at the drop of a hat. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were pleasantly surprised with our experience, the rooms are very clean and smells great, on site restaurant and breakfast Cafe had wonderful service and really good food, the rooms are all indoors, no outside doors to your room so we felt much safer, all rooms open to interior courtyard and will remind you of the French quarter in New Orleans, pool area very clean and nice, when we are in the area we will be back for sure

We live less than an hour away and wanted to take a short trip before my job got busy. The place is spotless and their room rates are reasonable for what they offer (e.g., indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, rec area, and exercise room). They offer a very nice breakfast menu in which the quality of food is excellent and inexpensive. The restaurant in the hotel building is also convenient. We will definitely go back!

Wish I could stay here longer. Beautiful place to stay with plenty to see and do right here. Indoor / outdoor pool, ping pong tables, pool table, air hockey table, a couple tables with chess / checker boards, a beautiful fountain inside. Can't say enough good about this place.

Wonderful hotel with nice clean room and great pool area, staff was incredibly helpful.

Rooms and hotel very clean. Grandkids loved the inside/ outside pool .. Front desk was very helpful and answered all my questions. Prices are reasonable. No free breakfast but can buy breakfast.

Was here last week for a week. Very big hotel with a lot to offer! I didn't utilize anything but the room. Enjoyed my stay and would stay here again. Very nice hotel for the area. The room was decent, water gets hot and has good pressure.

For the past 3 years my mom, kids and self have been coming here to stay while we visit family that lives less than five minutes away. I was pleasantly surprised to see it's under new management and with new staff. Best thing of all is the mattress on beds was way more comfortable than prior stays. All was perfect this time! We enjoyed the pool. Visited the restaurant, prices were steep but it was big proportions and very good too. I thoroughly appreciated all the detail to cleanliness that was taken and seen throughout our stay!

I started a Indian Motorcycle Facebook page a few years ago, inviting riders to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for a few days of riding and making new friends. This year we decided to add another ride and chose the Ramada Inn in Paintsville for our lodging. During our five night stay, riders from Canada to Florida, all forty of us, agreed this is the best Ramada any of us have stayed at.

We were only here for a night passing thru on a business trip. When we walked in the lobby we thought “Where are we?” This place totally exceeded our expectations. Beautiful hotel. Did not expect the large atrium with recreation area and water fountain. Christmas decorations and music were beautiful. I didn’t even take pictures of my room because there was nothing to document. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. In a bigger city I could not have afforded to stay at a hotel like this.

We enjoyed the peace and relaxation. Beds were great. Only complaint was the toilet lever was sticking and hard to shut off. Everything else was awesome. I wished it had complimentary breakfast like most hotels do

We booked a block of rooms for our daughter’s wedding and John Howard and his team made sure that everything was perfect for our family and friends! They were super accommodating and met every request we had. I highly recommend the hotel for special occasions.

We only stayed one night but this place was impressive. For a conference center it has great amenities as well as private rooms for meetings. For our family stay the pool and game room were great for the kids. Just ask the front counter for anything you need to play table tennis, pool or checkers. The staff was very polite and happy to help. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. If were are ever in the area again this is the place we will stay.

My daughter and 3 grandchildren recently lost her husband/father of her children. He passed away in their home. My husband picked them up and took them to the Ramada for the week, just to get them out of the house. They were treated with exceptional service. The food was wonderful from the in-house restaurant. The kids enjoyed the pool and recreational activities, such as ping pong, pool table and air hockey. Great friendly place to stay.
