Eating at Wilma's is like being welcomed into someone's kitchen and given their full hospitality.

Went to this place on a whim, having never heard of it, and I'll tell you, it felt exactly like breakfast at Grandma's, it felt so cosy, food was great. She was so nice and attentive, great experience, highly recommend

Wilma is a wonderful lady!! Great service very comfortable and homey! Also would like to say I had forgotten my purse at her restaurant from out of town, without hesitation Wilma reached out to me and mailed my purse home to me!! She is a rare kind soul! We love Wilma’s restaurant!

Amazing little place with an amazing owner. Reminded me of breakfast at my grandparents. Would make the drive from Cincinnati to have breakfast with Wilma again.

Let me be very clear after reading all of the lies on the review. I have eat here sense I was a kid and she has the best food. I love it and her pies are amazing and they are made with a sugar substitute. Come see for your self the place is a bit dark but so good.

A little hole in the wall restaurant that has awesome food. Wilma has been in business for 60 years! It's just like eating in her dining room.

I was looking for a late lunch and got to Wilma's past closing time. She saw me try to open the door and even though she had been closed for over 10 minutes invited me to come on in and eat. Best ham and cheese sandwich, and she talked to me most of the time. The table I sat at felt like a kitchen table. She convinced me to get the strawberry shortcake to go and the whole meal was under $10. and the hospitality was the best. Going back tomorrow with my coworker for lunch. Wilma, her ham and cheese, and her Kentucky hospitality was the highlight of my day. Highly recommend!

I have worked at Wilms recently and was pleasantly surprised to learn that she really has some good/ cool meals. Like her hamburgers are to die for. And she makes great steak. You should really give it a try. I promise you'll LOVE it!!🥰🥰😍😍😘😘😋💖😁

We had the breakfast buffet and everything tasted so good. Talked a bit with Wilma. She said her restaurant had been there for 54 years. It is small and dated but if you like to eat at Mom & Pop places, you'll like this one.

I ate breakfast at Wilma's while traveling across the US. The food was your classic diner fair. Good solid and hearty meals with nothing but good old Kentucky charm served up. I also was served by Wilma herself. Overall, it gets 5 stars due to being exactly what it promised to be, good quality southern small town grub. I suggest it to all those passing through the way.

So deff wasnt expecting this place. Walked in and the owner Linda....who is just sweet as pie... Was suprised to see a new face. But as i scanned the place.....its just like goin to Grammas to eat, complete with toys on the floor for the kids. All homemade food...Served on and in the plates and glasses you would find in your own pantry.... Its just a cute homely place to grab some good home cookin. Id come back. If your looking for a Mom and Pap hole in wall place....this is at the top of that list. No fancy gimmick, no signiture meals to put it on the map. Just Good Home Cookin

I travel to Paintsville 2 to 3 times a year. On every trip I make a visit here for the Apple Pie. With the 6 hour drive to here the highlight is the delicious pie from Wilma's They are very friendly and very good down home cooking. I highly recommend them.

As a child whenever I visited my grandmother in Paintsville, KY she always took me here. I always ordered the cheeseburger and fries. The food was always excellent! Just thinking of this place brings back wonderful childhood memories!
