Round Mountain Park

Go-to place for year-round hiking (early mornings and evenings in the summer). Offers a variety of trails. Family and pet friendly. No mountain biking. The 360º view at the top is worth the moderately difficult hike up a well-marked, improved trail.
Don't miss it if you're visiting. If you're local, try walking it twice weekly all year round to fully appreciate the desert flora and fauna - and get in great shape!

Super fun park to hike at. Some trails are easier and other trails are more challenging but good for the whole family. Lots of spots to stop and take in the views and scenery. You can easily spend 3 to 4 hours if taking most of the trails. Lots of flowers in early April. Lots of people brought their dogs as well.

First time I went was about a month ago as a parent chaperone for my first graders field trip, had a great time! Now I just go when I need a quiet escape with a beautiful view!

There is an amazing view waiting at the top. The flag and round seating up there must have been a beast bc its a climb. My son carried his scooter part way up, I guess he thought he'd ride it down. We abandon it halfway if you find it please put it in view.

One of the must go to places in the area. Highly recommended. You can see the whole city of Globe on reaching the top, and the experience is mesmerizing and meditating.

Nice picnic tables to sit at for lunch or if you need an outdoor office for a few hours. The hiking trails offer great views of Globe and local flora and fauna.

I love this place! Definitely the coolest Trail in the area. I try to make it a habit to come back every year if I can.

What a great place to hike! Three hours for me. I enjoyed the Boulder Trail.

It is good for a easy family hiking. Bring your water. Well maintained!

Well maintained trails, good map at the trailhead, nice variety of terrain.

There's quite a few trails to choose from and a map at the front. When you first enter, there's restrooms as well on your left, and a small ramada with a pond nearby. I was able to walk a little bit on each of the trails but didn't go far into any due to the signs warning about a mountain lion sighting. The trails were nicely paved with sand. It was peaceful with lot of flora abounding.

The creators and the workers who made this park went above and beyond in what this park has to offer! Really nice hiking trails, very scenic and loved the plant and animal info along the way. It even has abandoned mine shafts which you can see right into. If you go here, you have to hike to the top where the views are unbelievable and a sort of monument was built there.

Awesome trails that range from easy to technical and are well marked.

Easy 2 mile loop trail climbs gradually 400 feet to a nice overlook of Globe. Plenty of benches to rest on make this a mountain anyone can climb.
