Excellent restaurant! The God was delicious, service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was great! I will definitely be returning!

The place was huge. Service was a little slow for a Monday night I thought but I would go back for a meal and drinks w. Friends.

We stopped in for drinks on a Saturday night around 8pm. Service was quick and friendly. A few of our party ordered dessert and was happy with their order.

Food was very good. Two 3oz. Filets with potatoes, gravy and green beans.

Had a great time watching the game, excellent food, good beer, fun crowd. And they had a WKU Hilltoppers booth.

Absolutely love the food from here! My biggest complaint is they don't open until 4:00 p.m.! My husband loves the flat iron steak and there's nothing better than their twice baked potatoes! I take that back the fried green tomatoes may have beat out the potatoes!

Delicious meal! Went around 6:30pm on a Thursday night with a companion. Plenty of seating was available and we found a nice booth in the bar. Our waitress, Stacy, was fast, friendly, and efficient through our entire stay.

Companion and I ordered the same thing; the flat iron steak, mushrooms for a side, and the Italian salad. Both steaks were cooked perfectly to the medium rare we requested and both were super tender. My only slight issue was steaks could have used a bit more seasoning but, regardless, both were delicious enough to eat with no steak sauce of any kind...the mark of a good steak!

The small loaf of bread that comes with the meal was warm from the oven and tasty enough for us to ask for another loaf when that one was gone. The strawberry butter that came with it was perfect!

We rounded things off by splitting some bread pudding that neither of us needed but we couldn't refuse. It was fresh and warm and the rum sauce on it was delicious.

We'll definitely return.

By the way, for those out there that remember Rookies spaghetti dinner from years ago, while it's no longer on the menu the owner assured us you can still order it...and it still tastes just as good!

Tuesday special: prime rib. It’s a great deal and it’s always good.

This place was awesome. The food was great, staff was good! Couldn't have been happier. Probably going to turn into regulars while we're here for work.

Everything was delicious. The salmon with the bourbon sauce will "change your life" as my daughter says.

It's always an excellent experience at Rookies. I had the Southern Fried Catfish meal and could not believe how large the portions were. The catfish was golden fried, tender and extremely tasty! Our waitress did a great job. We will be back!

I was in town for only one night and I strolled into Rookies by myself knowing nothing about the place. I sat at the bar and was greeted quickly, served quickly, and given just the right amount of attention from the staff. Neither overbearing nor missing in action. A fine line that many have tried to walk and failed. My applause to the house.

The picture I posted of my burger isn’t going to win any awards for presentation, but that’s more on me than the chef. It was delicious without being pretentious, the way that a good burger is supposed to be. If I was to offer any complaint, and I would have to reach, it’d be to suggest that cheddar would be better than American. Nevertheless, the patty was cooked correctly to temp, which is often not the case on hamburgers. The patty was served on a saucer separate from the bun so that the juices didn’t ruin the bun. A solid choice.

So my complaints are minor, cheese and beer. I offer them only to appear critical, distinguished, and even-handed. Beer-wise, I would have liked to have seen Miller or Coors on draft — and the beer world would like me to develop better taste. Touché.

All in all — would recommend to anyone, and if I was local, I could see myself become a regular.

The food is always amazing. Rookie's has some of the best waiters and waitress. It's one of new favorite restaurants in town.

Im travelling for business and have never been to the area before. I came to Rookie's with two coworkers of mine after realizing that the place we tried to go to, across the street, had closed down.

I ordered the shrimp and crab tortellini, which was very good. The other dishes brought to the table were the prime rib, which received really high praise from the guy who ordered it, and a chicken sandwich that looked good from my side of the table.

The server was friendly and fun to talk to. She gave good recommendations and made us feel really welcome. She also explained that there is a restaurant portion if you'd prefer to avoid the sports bar setting, which opens this place up to a broader audience.

I would definitely recommend this place for above average sports bar food and a fun atmosphere.

It's been awhile since my wife and I ate here. We got carryout and the food was outstanding. The rib-eye sandwich was large and cooked to perfection. You will not be sorry for trying it.

One of my favorites in town has excellent food, drinks and atmosphere.
