Rural King

Man, you can never go wrong with Rural King. I would almost make the statement if they don’t have it there you don’t need it. But there are a couple things they’re missing but that’s not their fault. Looking is an excellent place for anything around the yard that needs to be fixed and or replaced. They have stihl chainsaws an outdoor equipment, can’t complain about that at all. They have an excellent selection of dog treats and dog food. If you’re in the need of a baby chickens, they’ve got that for you also! How about some canning supplies and a rabbit? Not a problem, Rural King has you covered! As stated before, if real King does not have a do you really need it?

My favorite go to store for shopping! I love getting stuff here for my yard, home, horses, goats, dogs, rabbit, cats, chickens, and for feeding my wild birds year round. I just love the multi purpose if this store, as well as the fact I can get pretty much anything I need with a great selection. ( SO MANY projects, animal care routines, and jobs have been done here at my home with the help of rural king and their products being readily available!)

Great store, wife couldn't believe they were out of flowers. Nowhere else can you get free popcorn, ammo, clothes, and everything in between. We love this place.

The lady in the kids clothes was super helpful, and very funny.

Great customer service. Great deals. Got a 18x10 swimming pool $190! More than $500 less than on the manufacturers website. They carted it out and put it in my truck for me. Great group of folks here!

They're very helpful, nice. They have almost anything you need. If they don't have it they tell you where else you might get it.

Good place to buy flowers trees and bushes as well as other items. It is a little dirty but you expect that with all the type of equipment they sell. We purchased our zero turn there and it's been a good mower. They stay busy.

The ones that work there are always friendly and help you find what you need.

Last minute trip at 830pm Sunday night for Caulk, Paint, Glue and 2" Wood Screws. Found Everything myself, a little pricey $60 but glad to have it on the South end of town (open an hour later than Lowes) but have supplies early Monday morning when Painters arrived at crack of dawn to outrun the heat!

Gotta love rural King but don't go unless you know exactly what you want. Last few times I've been in there I'd go get what I need an decided to jus walk around and see if anything catches my eye. Two different employees followed me and insured they help me find what I was looking for, which was nothing... then a 3rd, the manager I assume. Walked up and pressed me to buy or leave, pretty much. So I got whatever it was I was there for an left. I understand being helpful but following people around is creepy.

Super friendly and helpful staff good prices went there again today I cannot say enough good things about this store their staff is so kind and patient today we watched a clerk trying to help a very rude guy with a return he was really giving her a hard time she kept her composure and was very friendly to the guy trying to help understand her name was Robin keep up the good work rural king

So we were passing through. This is like a small fleet farm or tractor supply, but local. They had what we needed and we were in and out quickly. Seemed like average value/prices. I recommend it if you need this kind of store.

They had the battery I needed in stock, and a bunch of stuff I didn't know I needed before I got there. Our Rural King is usually one of my favorite places to go. No complaints here.

Love going here, you can bring your dog. Make sure you clean up after them though out of respect for the workers. My kids love going for the free bag of popcorn and to see the baby chickens and rabbits. Good country store! Only place you can buy Ariat around here as well, I believe.

Customer service is awesome had an employee coming in to work hadn't clocked in asked if I needed help said let him clock in and came back to finish helping me find the right battery for my mower.

I have a farm and make lots of purchases at rural king. I frequently buy large quantities of feed, and also may have questions and need help finding something while shopping. The Henderson Rural King, although farther of a drive for me than another, is my preferred store as the customer service at Henderson cannot be beaten. Staff is friendly, quick to help, and helpful from beginning to end of my shopping trip. There is a gentleman there, Jonathan, that has helped load feed for me multiple times, and his genuine, happy, positive attitude always leaves me with a smile on my face. I highly recommend Henderson’s Rural King!

I'll always give rural king 5 stars. The one in Henderson KY always has clearance or great buys. I shop there for boot socks often, and the pet food selection is big. Priced often less than Walmart. I'm loyal to rural king so it's unlikely that even on a bad day I would give a bad review. My last trip there a sweet cashier was stocking, stopped to check a price for me and then offered to go ahead and check me out if I was ready which is just great customer service! She is the daughter of a school teacher and precious as they come. I also LOVE that they are 100% equal opportunity. They have a few handicapped or disabled employees, all of which I've interacted with and they are extremely helpful, and awesome employees.

My sister and I stopped in so I could get chicken feed. She is a city girl in for a visit and just wonder if they would have an item she needed. We asked an employee if they sold it. Next thing we knew, we had four employees helping us look. Once we found it they were like "now four of us know that we sell this and where it is located".
