Always had good food but right now closed doing construction work on it

So the first time I tried to get food here there was a bit of an issue. I was traveling home and placed an order online. When I got there it was closed. Found out they were closed for an event of some type(not a holiday). They refunded my money the next week which was no big deal, but maybe there’s a way to shut down online ordering when they are closed. I only found out through Facebook while sitting in the parking lot wondering what was going on and if I was out 75$ for it. However the next 2 times I visited the food was great. I decided while traveling through the 2nd time on my way home to order when I got there. Got fried cod, Mac n cheese and an order of fried green tomatoes. My most recent visit I decided to bring the wife and the 2 youngest kids with me. All in all a great experience with my family. The prices are a little high but the food is worth it and the portions are solid for the price. Inflation is hitting all markets and I can tell the owner is doing his best to keep it reasonable. If his prices are something to complain about then maybe you can’t afford to eat out. Those fried green tomatoes are so good I could make myself sick overeating them! Not sure why there are so many detractors on the reviews but my family and I will definitely visit again and again.

We are repeat customers. The outdoor dining area is a homey small town feel that we enjoy. The seafood is good and the staff is friendly. They have varying hours, due to being short staffed. The menu has been limited also, because of the lack of cooks. Call ahead to see what's on the menu. Maybe these struggles will end after the September 6th federal money is cut from unemployment. We'll be back to have a bourbon/coke and a blue moon with our baked cod dinner.

Very nice place to have dinner with family and friends. The employees are very Friendly. Food is awesome. You don't have to wait very long for your food. It's cool to order.. everything is fresh homemade and well worth the money.

Small off the beaten path seafood restaurant that the interior remind me of Hungry Pelican in Louisville off of Bardstown Road in Fern Creek. I plan on trying the food in a very near future and thinking... It may be the best I have ever had. I don't know what tells me this because I've eaten at everywhere you can think of Red lobster, kingfish, Joe's Crab shack, and other places that serve seafood in addition to the "turf" of the "Surf n' Turf" type that is... We shall see!

Great patio, ice cold beer, delicious fish and coleslaw (I'm super picky on both fish batter and coleslaw- these are perfection!). Great family or date night spot. Wonderful customer seevice! My husband and I love this place!

This hidden gem just KEEPS getting better. I always get a dozen oysters on the half shelleo start. I also get a huge fish platter with cole slaw, and could never forget the onion rings. It feeds at least two. They're absolutely 💯 perfect in my experiences there I should've taken pictures, but couldn't wait to indulge in all of the food. They also give the right condiments as per order. I always get extra. 😀 Good hush puppies as well.

Super good food. The real deal! I highly recommend drowning some worms in Lake Jericho then hit Keepers for excellent fish! Awesome covered porch, good tunes and festive vibe.

Seafood platter was great. Big size portions. Loved the fried pickles as an appetizer. Husband loved the fried oysters. Will definitely go back again. We went early, about 5 to beat the crowds. Great experience.

Great food and great service! Nice selection of appetizers at a good price. The seafood is fresh and delicious. Locally owned by family members of the community. Nice reputable family! I would recommend to anyone. It is a great place to get together with friends or family and hangout.

First time there. Staff were great . Showed is the menu , food and drink. Fish was great along with slaw and puppies. Never made it to the fries .

Oysters on the half shell were GREAT! Honestly, everything we ordered was wonderful. Fried green tomatoes, oysters, butterfly shrimp, seafood platter, and pan fried oysters. I will return regularly. Had a wonderful meal friendly staff, clean, and GREAT!

If you have any problems here, speak to Pam. she will make it right. Had a rough night and she will make sure the next one is great! We love their fish!!!! so good. The tartar sauce is to die for!

Omg, the softest, cleanest, most fluffy fish I have ever ever eaten. Absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back. Dear lord so tasty.

Very friendly service and the fish is amazing!!! Everything was fresh, nice atmosphere with a down home beachy feel. Definitely worth the drive and we plan on coming back more often :)

Very good food! One of the best little secret of Henry Co. Drove by and decided to stop in and it was definitely worth the stop. If your looking for a low key place to get seafood this is it. Not to mention they are a very clean restaurant.
