Sharing our experience. My husband and I just turned 50 and obviously have many years left to live. But we had been starting to think about how to make things easier for a surviving spouse and our young adult children when the inevitable time comes. We are average people with average incomes. My brother and I had to walk through the steps of our parent’s estate planning in order to ensure that as many of their assets were protected as possible. We chose KT Williams Law for his experience and expertise in elder car law. Our father was dealing with dementia and our mother was in excellent health at the outset of our planning process. However, within weeks our mother had a stroke and KT Williams Law sat back down with my brother and I to reevaluate what direction we needed to go to revamp the original plan.
