Flat Run Veterans Park

The kids really enjoyed the park. There are people out walking other people out walking their dogs. The park is so nicely taken care of. Soccer fields, playground, pavilion. Everything is so nicely manicured, and taken care of. It's Nice to see a place that people respect, I see no garbage throwing about, no dog feces that I've seen. This park is such a refreshing find. Will definitely be back again.

Great park in a humble town. Love the location and ease if access. Great trails/paths. Beautiful fields for various activities. Scenery is lovely. Playgrounds for the kids. Ample scape to explore with plenty of room to spread out. Quite and peaceful. Best part for the dog keepers is there is a nice dog park to let your beasts romp safely with one another.

Love visiting this park! The dog park has two areas: one for large dogs and one for small. There are doggie bags available and plenty of room for my pup to run off all her energy! The walking track which circles most of the park is also very nice with an extended portion that runs up behind the Wedco building. There are restrooms and a fun looking playground. Not far from the play area is a gazebo with picnic tables and a basketball court. There are benches and lighting all around the track and a lovely little creek that has sections to get near the water. (My dog likes the creek!) It’s a great place to get some fresh air and exercise and to meet new people (and dogs)!

Doesn't matter what time of day, this park is pleasant. I am an avid walker, this park is perfect for that. It also has a multitude of open spaces, frisbee golf, basket ball, and a fenced in dog area. Not to mention the big pagoda for hosting events like spring/summer birthday parties with the play park just a couple feet away. The park is idyllic, clean, and a lovely place. I got to see the beauty of how scenic it can be at dusk and could not help but take a couple photos. The lamps are perfect for lighting up a nights stroll.

My kids love to play here and there's plenty of field to fly a kite on a windy day.

Nice park for walking. Heavy duty, safe playground equipment. Large dog park and a smaller area for small dogs.

Great place to take the family. Has a park, picnic area, walking trail, skate park, basketball court.

Lots of places to walk and it’s super fun to ride scooters down the hill. The park is nice and big and it’s out in the open so you can notice if a little one is trying to escape. The park used to have a rocking car but that got taken out for numerous reasons. It’s also not a completely flat park

Great place for children, lots to do here

My kids always have fun here with every piece of equipment there and we always have fun as a family. I would recommend this park because it is clean and open and makes the kids feel free. We have made it a tradition to see the 4th of July 🎆 fireworks here every year.

I love this park. Best thing they could have put in this town. We celebrate birthday's over here all the time, at least 3 a year. Now they have put in a dog park for people to take their dogs to turn loose and let run. They even give you treats and dispose bags. Nice place

It is a great place to go walk, jog the playground allows kids to play freely, I really love going over thier to get my excise . It's very peaceful it allows you time to think. Go an enjoy.

Really nice park with a huge trail for walking, jogging, etc. So glad towns like Cynthiana have places like this for people that enjoy being active, and outdoors. It also has a nice, large playground for kids to have fun!

Flat Run Veterans Park is a beautiful place. It has large, wide open spaces. Lots of room to run and play. Basketball courts, a playground, a bike/skateboard area, and nice big swing hidden in a grove of trees.

Quiet well-kept Park good family atmosphere

Great place to take the dogs for walks and the dog park is great other than when its busy and you don't want your dogs with other dogs cause bot everyones dogs are trained and not all dogs want to play with other dogs and if your there to use the space for training your dogs its difficult to do on busier days when its nice out would be nice if there was another lot for dog trainers like myself it would be nice if all dog parks had separate lots for trainers to use especially when its rained constantly and your yard is to muddy to use for training sessions

Nice place to go and have a picnic lunch. Great playground for the kids. Pavilion has plenty of room. Nice walking/jogging path. Restrooms also available.
