You can’t get anymore hometown and friendly than this place. The absolute best staff there is. My 3 year old daughter has been going here once a week since she was little to eat breakfast with her great grandparents. The entire staff treat her like a local celebrity every time she walks in. They all know her name, she knows all theirs too. They celebrate her birthday and treat her with so much kindness. I can’t give them enough praise or thank them enough! She looks forward to breakfast there every week.

Great small town diner experience! Decent quality food, fast and friendly service, and good location. Just down the street from the Grand Victorian Inn, it's certainly a convenient choice for guests as it is not even a 5 minute walk. I got the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. The meal was good quality, and the whole experience was elevated by the friendly and cozy atmosphere. Love me some small town eats!

2nd time we went there!! We had the Salisbury Steak meal. 3 sides. It was very good. I didnt know it was topped with onions, but my husband took them. Such good food!! AND!!!...I believe we were visited by "Miss Betty" herself!! She came around asking everyone how their food was!😊😊
Loved that touch! And..the waitress was very thoughtful. As we were leaving, she asked if we wanted a fresh drink to go, we said No, we have Tea in the car...then she asked us if we needed a cup of ice for our tea!!😊❤

1st visit: GREAT little gem. At first it looks small, but it has another room just down a couple steps. Very cozy. Great food. Great Sevice! Fast service! I recommend any one go and try this restaurant! See pictures. I had the Catfish dinner, Yummy! Husband had the Meatloaf dinner. He said it was very good! (But not as good as mine!😆)
Sides are homemade! Pea salad good! Potato salad, Good! Coleslaw, good!
Cant wait to go back. Look and see how much I brought home!

A hidden gem! After touring nearby Diamond Caverns we had Sunday lunch at Betty's. Very crowded with locals and a bit loud and chaotic but we highly recommend. We loved our catfish and three sides. The waitresses work VERY hard.

Visiting from Nashville and stopped in 30 minutes before closing. The service was great and the food was delicious, we will come back just for Miss Betty’s. Oh! Get the pie!!

Came for early lunch with my family. Was looking for some home style local cooking. Was not disappointed. Was greeted by very friendly staff. Food: catfish (crispy on the outside tender on the inside, not greasy,, burgers, slaw, pies and cobbler were delicious.

Best small town diner I've eaten at, food and service great! If you want terrific home cooking at a good price, stop in, it's just a short distance from I-65. No signs on interstate but Google it, you won't be sorry!

Miss Betty’s hit the spot! Definitely would recommend going after visiting the Mammoth Caves NP. Friendly service and GREAT prices. I was so excited to see the variety of pickled veggies they had. They were SO good and so refreshing after our hike! The grilled cheese, tater tots, and the steak with peppers and onions were the carb/protein load we needed as well. Would absolutely go again!

Classic diner with great service and good homemade food. Enjoyed a delicious cheeseburger and excellent coleslaw. Glad we ventured into town from I65. Fun find!

Delicious fish, pea salad and burger. Staff was fast and friendly. Doesn't look like much but we were really happy with our lunch and it was clean even though old. Definitely recommend.

We made a stop here after going to Mammoth Cave. This place is very reasonably priced and the servers were so friendly. Our group of 6 got a table right away. Clean facilities.

Great place! Food was perfectly cooked, especially the sausage and omelette, and people were friendly and efficient. Skip the chain places and go to Miss Betty's.

The staff here is always wonderful, and the food is even better! This mom and pop shop is one of my most favorite places to eat. If you want a taste of good home cooking, this place is the place to go!

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Being from the Midwest (Iowa) I enjoyed the comfort food. I tried the Salisbury steak with Mashed potatoes, green beans, and potato salad. All were very good. The dessert looked to die for, but I was too full. If your near, stop in for a hearty meal!

Really big breakfast, great prices and service. Quaint, little restaurant that came highly recommended to us by our Airbnb host; we just had to eat there once. Glad we did!

We stopped on our way home to Indiana. We read the reviews, so thought we would stop. We were glad we did! We both had the catfish which was delicious....the tarter sauce was too. The potato salad was excellent just like a family picnic. The pickled beets were flavorful and refreshing. Everything is homemade! Everyone working there was very nice. We didnt get desserts which looked awesome....should've gotten some to go. You cant beat the prices! We would go again.

Okay. This place isn’t fancy. But if you love really good food and extremely kind people, this is your place. Seriously, I got the steak Berger and my coworker got the catfish, both amazing. And serving sizes are massive. They should charge double what they’re charging. Delicious sides. All of it.

The pies are to die for. We got tea and dessert 🍨 staff was down home genuinely nice people. The lady over charged us and caught her mistake. I told em not to worry about it. She fixed it anyway. You don't get service like that anymore. So I left the difference and a tip. For her being honest. I was so impressed.

The staff were nice and the food was awesome! The country fried steak was the best I've ever had. It was crispy and light which is so surprising for country fried steak. Small town diner for the win!
