El Mazatlan Bar and Grill #4

Made a quick truck stop and found this gem. The service was amazing, the food was tasty and freshly made. We ordered the Fajita / Chicken Grilled Mix came with a side of rice and refried beans. We also ordered Chicken Flautas.. they were delicious. To drink we got a sweet tea and a Margarita which was served on a jumbo glass 💚.

What a fun time!. We arrived in town to visit the caves and this was close to our hotel. We were greeted by a friendly staff and a server who I believe was named Irene and was super friendly and helpful. We ordered and in about 5 minutes, we got our food and it was delicious. I got the fajitas and my son got burritos. Both were delicious. The server returned several times to check on us. The prices were excellent, service was friendly and fast.... Atmosphere was fun. Very happy with it dinner at El Mazatlan!

Food is absolutely delicious, I had chefs rice and shrimp, and it was amazing. My hubby had a lime and jalapeño margarita, and he said it was one of the best margaritas he has ever had! Also they were really sweet to my kids.

This place is so great, we had to have dinner twice while in Cave City. We had a chimichanga meal, enchiladas and tomatilo sauce the first night. Day two was the Victor special and a pork and cheese appatizer. Delicious!

Fast friendly service and the food was amazing! I was wishing for more beans even though I couldn't finish everything as the portions were generous. If I ever come back to this area, I would most definitely stop in again.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to! A great stop for a meal when you’re checking out mammoth cave nearby. The staff was friendly and efficient. Our food came extremely fast on a busy weekday evening. Portions were huge, flavor was phenomenal, great bang-for-your-buck prices, and service was excellent. Everything you could ask for and more :) we loved stopping by and would hesitate to come back next time we’re in the area!

We stopped in for a couple of drinks. We ended up getting guacamole dip also. The drinks were delicious & so was the dip. Excellent service too!

Absolutely loved it! Dad and I happened upon this place after a long day at Mammoth; our hotel clerk recommended it. Was not expecting such great service and delicious food. I ordered the Mexican burrito and Dad had the shrimp quesadilla. Thanks!

Great authentic Mexican food in Cave city, Kentucky. We were a party of 6 and we're accommodated quiet well.
The fajita enchiladas came with rice, guacamole and sour cream. We asked for refried beans along with it. Fish and chicken Tacos with corn tortillas were wonderful. The Mexican coffee was perfect to finish our meal.
Food serving size is great and tastes wonderful

Believe the hype! This is the best Mexican restaurant in the area, possibly the state. Ordered takeout twice, 15mins ready during dinner. Amazing!

I devoured the steak and chicken fajitas for dinner and lunch. You won't go hungry, even at prices equal to whatever Taco Bell passes as food.

My one minor complaint is on my 2nd order the next night was that the pork was over salted. But! I'm glad I returned to try their house-made habanero salsa!

Perfect heat, the fruity notes of the habanero are present, and the portion size was plentiful like all my other dishes.

I had to leave this place an awesome review. We arrived 15 min. before they opened and they seated us anyway. The place was so clean and fresh and the service was great. The food is some of the best Mexican food I have had in a while. I feel very lucky to have stumbled on this gem by chance on my travels back to Indiana from Florida. I will make sure it is included on my next trip as well.

OUTSTANDING! The food is really good and the presentation of the food is just beautiful. That is a great part of dining for me. The outdoor patio is a great environment, especially with pets. Service is quick. The servers are authentic, respectful. They are all about business, not trying to drum up larger tips. Four of us ate dinner and desserts. 100% positive experience. The prices are as reasonable as I have experienced for this quality. Great job El Mazatlan!

I had the milanesa. It was good, just a little to salty.
2nd time: had the tacos de asada in corn tortilla. They were delicious I will say they were a 5⭐, but overall a four since the salsa didn’t have that taste picante that I have had in other places.

First off I sat at the bar & it was nice.
Middle of nowhere to me but felt like home. Ltms Comfortable if you know what I mean.

Clean, courteous & reasonable.

Best Mexican food since returning to the US! We went on a weekday for dinner and it was quite busy, but they have plenty of tables. Highly recommend the stopping by here if you’re in the area!

We've eaten at a LOT of Mexican restaurants, and many of them are pretty much the same: same chips, same salsa, same basic food.

This place is one of the best we've eaten at. They two sauces/salsas that were like nothing I've ever tasted before. And the entrees were also great.

And we had to check the bill when we left. We couldn't believe how little our meal cost.

I got the chimichanga meal, sooo good! Best Mexican cuisine I have ever eaten. Got a table right away, food came out quickly as well. Service was wonderful. Will definitely be back, next time we travel through the area.

Hidden gem for sure! We went to Mammoth Cave and decided to try and find something local. We were greeted and seated right away. Chips & salsa on the table within 60 seconds… I could go step by step… it was that consistent… Customer service from entry to exit, the food was delicious, the prices are very affordable. Highly recommend. Burrito Real with extra chicken and extra lettuce & the Victors Special. The menu has tons of photos, which I love and not a lot of places do that too often.
